Oh, I know — I was a fan of the Grinnell System teams even before this hire. I've been pleasantly surprised that this hasn't been much of a problem for us all season up to this point, but now Winthrop is making it look like the only reason it hasn't been is because nobody else has been willing to commit to making their offense primarily about beating the press.

Too many other teams hav been too comfortable settling for getting through the press and then setting up their halfcourt offense. That is not how you beat a Grinnell System team — you HAVE to be getting those easy 2s to make us soffen the press. Winthrop has done a good job of it, but their defense hasn't been able to hold us enough to make this a close game.

Is the score wrong on the screen or the ESPN app? At one point they accidentally recorded one of our buckets for them but I thought I saw them fix it on the screen.
