No, being a Vol fan is hard enough on the heart. We cant let close victories happen just to get back at other teams. If we have the ability to skull drag a team DO IT.

I suffered through best case scenario eeking out a close win Pruitt ball for three seasons. I don't wanna go back.

Why do you think we have pulled in multiple 5 stars in the last two years. Our offense is sexy as all hell and recruits are dreaming of a Hyatt vs Bama last year moment.

It only hurts worse for some fans. Some will take it as improvement, find the silver ling, etc. There is no silver lining if UT dominates them from the start winning by a large margin. A complete butt whooping will take their hopes and dreams seem completely unattainable. I would rather demoralize their fans to the point they go to bed thinking theyll never amount to anything.

We were down 2 or 3 scores by the time Hooker went down. If he stayed in it wouldnt have been any better. The defense didnt even show up.

It was 2 scores when Hooker went down. Had we scored on that drive, we're looking at a 1 score game with plenty of time. Instead USCe got the ball at the goal line when Hooker went down.

He went down on 3rd or 4th down. We were going to punt anyways and up until that point I'm not sure we forced a punt or even a FG.
