Lol we hang a 50 burger on em this year and run them outta neyland

50 burger? That would just be a normal day at the park.

Heupel and team have a chip on their shoulder now with the Lamecocks. We have a coach who has shown he has no qualms about throwing deep with the game well outta hand

Face it, last year to most of the media we were a fun story. Team that has been down is now shellacking people with video game numbers blah blah blah.

With the way the media turns, might as well get ready for the spin this season to be 'the Vols are just beating up on people".

Personally I have no problem with that.

We don't hang 80 on em in Neyland, I'm going to be disappointed.

Tennessee plays its best when we are trying to blow people out on every single play. The natural and expected outcome on Tennessee playing it’s own game should be a blowout.

I know what you’re saying, but what I’m trying to say is that when guys go out and try too hard to make plays instead of letting the game come to them is when things typically don’t have the result you expect or want. I want us to be aggressive calling the game and taking our shots, I want our guys to run to the football and hit, I just think it COULD BE easy to try and do too much to get revenge for last year. Not saying I’m expecting that to happen, that’s just my biggest fear with this game because everyone will be charged up for that one .

Well, how about we don't join them.

Everyone knows our team learned a lesson from that game last season.
Question is, will our fans have learned a lesson from that game last season.

Coaches have been saying it for decades: "There are no automatic wins in the SEC."

Exactly what I was thinking reading some of these posts!!!

I'm calling it now....we hang 70 on 'em in Neyland. After what we saw Heupel give Missouri last year, it appears that Coach likes to hold grudges.

This is the one home game that I am coming in for this season. It’s going to be an absolute bloodbath. Heupel will run the score up on them without any hesitation.
I hope He scores 100 on those cockadoodle dummies....I'm about sick of hearing those jagoffs running thier mouths over that fluke of a game they won.

Somewhat contentious interview at times I thought. Don't blame him at all though. I can see why coaches have their guard up in front of media guys like this.
Yeah, they all kind of started off on the wrong foot lol.. they were basically accusing him of playing mind games or being cagey and he was like ‘what?’ 😂 I be think it’s because he is intelligent, so it’s confusing 😂

I also must remind everyone about the banner they flew over the orange bowl.

I live on the South Carolina coast in Pawleys Island, but i'm mostly surrounded by Georgia fans in my neighborhood. I still have to hear the occasional cock running their mouth though.

They love them some Beamer...some calling him the Ted Lasso of the Gamecocks. I remind them Ted Lasso only lasted 4 seasons.

Write it down. We are going to whup them like a red headed stepchild’s rented mule. Neyland will be a madhouse and I expect the team to be frothing at the mouth. I mean we are talking about an Andy Kauffman meets Jerry Lawler type beating. The Mickey Mouse Club Meets Ghengis Khan and the Mongol Horde type
butt kicking.

One word for SCJr: “Deguello” which is defined as complete destruction of the enemy with no quarter given. Can’t wait. Hope we hang 70 on them and are still throwing on the last play of the game.

My goal is to make them spend the next decade wishing to the bottom of their heart that they had never won that game last year. The payment will be very hard to keep making every year. We will collect in pain WITH INTEREST

College football is hard to predict because the lack of consistency...South Carolina could be a decent team this year. Or they could be 5-7.

See, therein lies the issue.

Face it, SCjr is a 6-6 school
They are always going to average out to 6-6. Average. Unspectacular in any way

Now for them, an 8-4 or so season is a "dream" season where every ball bounces in their direction. Last year for them was our 1998

Their dream season resulted in a trip to the.......Gator Bowl which they lost to ND

Our record against them since 2008 is just disgraceful, honestly. 7-8. Horrible! Those 2010-2013 teams they had, I get it. Spurrier retirement tour vs what has to be the worst 4 year stretch in the history of modern UT football (even though we beat their best team in 2013 lol). But no excuse for 2016-2018 and last year. South Carolina made us fold in the 4th quarter of those games and it was absolutely embarrassing.

You are so right. Heard a player interview yesterday say exactly that, the players feed on the atmosphere. Also, these Gamecocks fans should, not be allowed to leave at halftime or third quarter, they should have to watch the entire butt whipping in its entirety.

My son is a UT Junior. His best friend is a USCe Junior. She and 7 of her other USCe pals are coming to the game thinking they are going to win.

I wholeheartedly agree they should have to stay for whole game.

Blow them out by a 100. The polls only show respect when you are blowing people away.
