could it be our great government is making serious cash on this. no supply and demand problems or no hurricanes for that matter. i'm starting to think alot of what chavez has been spewing about our great leader is true. let's go to ethanol and jack the prices up on everything, like i said before the government is working for the select few. the rich. :good!:

This might not work but it is worth a shot:

that's right. the rich are making a tremendous haul here, the bastages. there is no fundamental reason for pricing to be this high. economics changes when it's petrol involved. pricing is completely independent of supply / uncertainty thereof.

Keep aligning yourself with brilliant thought leaders like Chavez and you'll continue to look completely rational in your arguments.

One of two things will happen...
1. Everybody loads up on gas on May 14th
2. Everybody holds off buying gas until May 16th or 17th

Really not gonna be any sort of impact.

now there's the pot calling the kettle black...upstate SC is hardly a bastion of civilization. It's one of the few places I've been that will actually have a street sign for a dirt road.

It will probably also rock his world once he figures out that Deliverance was filmed a lot closer to his house than it was mine. :eek:k:

I love that old Deliverance skit from SNL where Ned discovers one day before filming that several pages are missing from his copy of the script. :) Burt and Jon keep playing dumb and saying stuff like, "Aw Ned, just improvise..you'll do fine!"

Its supply and demand, I don't understand it.

Why aren't more people walking, riding bicycles and horses, to and from work?

Don't they understand economics?

I thought once all those democrats got elected this would all be fixed? Could it be they are in cahoots as well?

and another dollar is the three trillion gallons of American gas that illegal immigrants use.
Whew, you're really going for the gold today huh? That is an interesting perspective though.
