This thread took an absurd turn at Jax_Vol's assertion.

LW and LG couldn't log onto Volnation because in '86 you had to put your telephone receiver next to your 300 baud modem to connect to a local bulletin board system on your Commodore 64. Only nerds had 'em. Like the rest of us in college in '86 we were too busy out chasing the gals.

I personally haven’t lost any faith in Mullen being a very solid coach that miss st team is pretty frickin sick this year and that’s at the worst program in the best division in football gonna take time but I have no doubt the man can coach and win 10+ games at place like UF now sec and National titles well that’s hard to imagine at this point but not impossible

Probably would take another Heisman QB to get that accomplished

Seriously tho miss st defense is loaded and the man coach QBs and offense well enough that’s just a fact

I’m still excited for the rest of the year don’t feel any where near how I did after that Michigan last year

2-3 years away from being competitive with good teams but I think we’ll there

Best we can hope for this year is a win or 2 over LSU FSU or Miss st etc

But but but it was all Butch Jones and a “real coach” would prove how much talent we actually had.

At least that’s what the FF was full of all offseason.

Mullen defiantly has concerns but his coaching is pretty good, he needs to get better at recruiting
He will have a hard time in October but as long as the team improves, they can make a bowl game

yeah I wouldn't take away anything from our game if I was you. the UF/UT game is always an outlier. and this game was no exception. how many times have we made your back ups look like Heisman hopefuls?
