Wow and i though Cal was classless. To me the Gators are more overrated than Cal. I hope we completely annihalte these Florida idiots.

Sorry gatorbait, but your buddies are fools.

The person that started that thread is a Jimmie Johnson fan, that explains a lot. :)

Were horrible? psshh yeah right. We took a top ten team and basically embarrassed them infront of national television while they were on ESPN gameplan struggling with souther miss. We will see who is really horrible after the gators leave neyland stadium in a couple of weeks with their heads hung low in shame and embarrassment.

Most defnitely Jenn, and I agree with you...And CBC, they get a high ranking every year and they hardly ever back it up, I agree with your comment..I think if we play half as good as we did last night I think we'll beat them...It'll be a close game though, always is

Cal is no top 10 team. If they are we are easily a top 5.

You guys think we will play this inspired all year? Are we really this good???

Can we run the schedule???

We play with that intensity all season, then yes. Problem is keeping people healthy and keeping intensity. I have always thought the talent was there. The coaching has now also caught up. Possible but UF and UGA will also come with talent and intensity. We'll see.

Chris leak is goin to choke as always. Ever since his freshman years florida is always expected to have a stellar season. Just like this season they are expected to run the table and win the SEC but reality is that they are goin to choke and have to play Iowa AGAIN in another non-bcs bowl game.

CBC, if we get past Florida and UGA unscathed I think we can win out....After that we more or less we would have to get past LSU.....I saw the Alabama game last night and they didn't look too good....they didn't look real sharp...So I think its a possibility, but if we do run the schedule I hope we aren't like the Auburn team from 2004 and get screwed from a National Championship shot

I truly do believe that if Auburn had played USC in that 2004 Championship game that it would have been a lot closer, they might have even beaten them, but I guess we'll never know

No need to be concerned....just a buncha gator homers talking smack to hide their worry. There was about 10 of em dead wrong on their predictions, so when we go to game 4 the Volwalk can sport some new gatorskin boots. By the way, anyone else notice the camel sign in that thread?:p

Saw the first part of an interview with Larry the Cable Guy; he's actually from Nebraska, and he said he bases the act and accent on some of the friends he made when they moved to central Florida when he was a teenager...

If we play even close to as well against Florida as we played against Cal, we will absolutely destroy them.

"Cal will win this game, probably by 10 or more. TN will not be able to score against Cal's defense and the Cal offense should be much improved from last year."

"tennessee is going to suck this year. You guys should easily win the SEC East as no team is up to you guys in terms of talent in the east. The only team that has a chance of playing in the SEC championship rather than you is Georgia, simply because their schedule is easier. Tereshinski is awful by the way, and Matt Stafford should be the starter over there"

"Cal will take UT to school; their defense won't be able to stop Cal's two-headed running back monster, much less their deep passing attack. And UT's offense won't do them much good either, especially against Cal's d-line, one of the best in the nation.

I'm going to say Cal wins by about two touchdowns, even if 107,000 foot-stompin' hillbillies show up for the game."

LOL...could they have been more wrong? :p

Let's hope that this comment was true. If they have the second best defensive line in the nation, then we certainly have the best D-line in the nation. It would also mean that we shouldn't have to be concerned about our O-line anymore. Unfortunately, I don't think Cal's D-line will be in the Top 5 D-lines that UT plays this season.

It's one game. And Cal is not that good. But we always kick butt, when everyone counts us out.

Geez, one win against a semi-decent Pac10 team, and there's talks of running the schedule? Get real...please.
