Gators Starting CB

I can not disagree there...I hate it and really do not see where there should be any tolerance for this behavior in today's society...I feel the same and think that if you fire it there should be more implications than just getting kicked off a team or school.

South Florida, I think, and some other teams that don't matter.

The Gators are the best team in the top 5 for the cup by far. And, the cup administrators are Gator fans so they've already gotten the benefit of the doubt in those rankings.

Wasn't the South Florida ranking so high because of one player? I think he scored multiple points for pistol whipping multiple victims and felony discharge of a firearm. I also thought it said something about how he used to be a top recruit for UF before transferring, but I could be wrong.

I think CUM will hire Lawgator1 to defend Jenkins and he will complete his community service just prior to the Tennessee game although I seriously doubt if it will have much effect on the outcome of the game. The only good that can come out of it is that Lawgator1's lips will be so sore from kissing CUM's butt that we may not hear from him for a while.

I guess Brent Vinson being in an apartment where somebody got murdered is considered "quiet"?? LOL

When they reported that he was a witness, I did not realize he was in the apartment. I guess I naively thought he happened to be walking across the parking lot. :)

I do think discipline is a problem at UF. I do not disagree with that. I continue to fear that one of the players is involved in a shooting incident and that could be disastrous for the university. I still wish Meyer would take a harder line on firearms and players.

Having said that, we'll see how Kiffin reacts when he has to deal with these inevitable problems.

We've already seen how Kiffin reacts to player misbehaviror - See D. Morely - kicked off the team for less than what Jenkins did.

We should offer a scholarship to the cop who caught him. He obviously has the speed to play in the SEC!

I DO NOT know any of the facts of this case, but I can speak regarding the use of tasers...more prevalent use by LEAs everywhere. The use of a taser does not indicate seriousness of the offense, it usually has to do with immediate behavior of the person and whether it is seen as a direct danger to LEA present or others.

From what I am reading at Gatorcountry Insider, he was defending himself from 4 guys trying to rob him. If this is the case (and yes, he is extremely stupid for running away from the cops) then you can't blame him. I'm sure if it was one of your players, you wouldn't be so quick to pass judgment. I can't speak for all Gator fans, but I don't applaud when any players gets arrested.

Please explain why he was the one taser'd, why would they then arrest him and not the four robbers(lmfao)!!! Urban Cryer is really putting some bangers on the field! Lack of institutional control maybe? Thug U is now located in Gainsville, don't know how Tebow sits at the training table with these scoundrals!! HAHAHAHAHA! Slive is gonna have a little talk with that crybaby coach and his girlfriend AD!

I'll bet Urban gives him exactly a 2 game suspension.
Yeah and Urban will pick which two games he is suspended for. Who was the player they had in 06 that had so many problems and Urban pretty much all but chose what games he was suspended for?

Sorry to kind of get off topic but I am at work and flip it on ESPN to watch the College Softball world series and I be damned but who else are they talking to during the UF game? Timmy Tebow

If CUM would spend more time disciplining his players instead of trying to discipline our head football coach, it would be time better spent.

I don't think he would go so far as to making Jenkins' down his personal pen up poster of Lane Kiffin from his locker, but you never know how far Urban may be willing to go with this one.

Also, I was surprised to see they published LawGator's name in the article.

Jenkins' attorney Huntley Johnson says he believes his client acted in self-defense and prosecution will be deferred or charges dismissed.

Mistaken identity. LawGator's name is Bo Smothernutts.
