General Flynn completely exonerated

Trump says he fired Flynn because he lied to Pence about Russian contacts.

Flynn pleads gulty TWICE and goes down.

Three years later Barr intervenes to exert political influence and drop charges against Flynn, to feed the Trump narrative that it was all a hoax.

Now Pence says he'd welcome Flynn back?

If you can follow the ping pong ball here its pretty obvious what has gone on. Flynn was a scapegoat for whoever told him to contact the Russian ambassador about the sanctions. He was used. He has been used again, this time to promote the hoax claim.

I hope they try to bring him back in. The Congressional hearings to confirm him will be VERY interesting.

3 years later it's clear if the set-up. Just wait this is just starting so you guys better sharpen your racist political intervention bs because you definitely don't have facts

No Mercy: Trump Sweeps the Leg After Dan Bongino Dunks CNN’s Brian Stelter Over Flynn Case Spin

CNN’s Brian Stelter had a meltdown Sunday during his “Reliable Sources” program over the fact that President Trump and the “right wing media” were spending so much time writing about and/or commenting on the Justice Department’s decision to drop the case against Trump’s former national security adviser Gen. Michael Flynn.

“They’re treating the Michael Flynn story like it’s a bigger deal than the deaths of 2,000 Americans a day,” Stelter stated indignantly, outraged that conservatives were not interested in moving on from the blockbuster news of Barr’s decision as quickly as he and his network were.

As Joe Biden would say, this story really is a big f***in’ deal, but of course that’s not the way Stelter sees it, because media narratives and what not.

My RedState colleague Bonchie noted in his write-up on Stelter’s rant that the real issue for Stelter was not that conservatives and Trump were not focusing on the Wuhan coronavirus death toll every day:
Let me translate that for you. He doesn’t want to cover a story that pushes back on his network’s four-year-long false narrative, so he’s instead going to virtue signal while standing on the dead and proclaim caring about government corruption means you want grandma to die.
Author and former Congressional candidate Dan Bongino was among the many high-profile conservatives who laid into Stelter over his ridiculous, self-serving whineathon:
I don’t have a problem with this guy getting his panties in a wad over Trump, Fox, and whoever not taking the virus as seriously as he thinks they should. That’s his right just like it is my right to say that he’s an absolute freaking moron, only I wasn’t thinking freaking, to compare the virus to 9/11 happening every day. Virus that kills indiscriminately. Terrorist attack on American soil. Virus. Terrorist attack. This same moron would go nuts if we said something about not believing a single person like Blasey Ford but a terrorist attack killing thousands? No biggie. It’s ok to make flippant remarks as long as they aren’t about the terrorists or about a female not named Reade. That’s how these people think. Absolutely insane.

The only thing I agree with you on is that it would certainly be can’t miss TV. Highly entertaining.

Questions....

You have previously stated that you called the Russian ambassador on orders of someone from Mr. Trump's team. Phone records confirm you had a call from Mar-a-Lago and that whent he call ended you immediately then called the Russian ambassador.

Who was it that told you to call the Russian ambassador to discuss removing the sanctions for interfering in the 2016 election?

Did this person ever make any comment to you which indicated, one way or another, whether Mr. Trump was aware of the order to call the Russian ambassador?

Why did you deny to the FBI, barely a month later, about the contents of that call?

For starters.

You'll eventually prove Russian collusion, even after Mueller failed.

The Muell should have hired you to be on his team. He might have actually caught a bad guy if he had.

Unfortunately, I don’t have all your answers LG as I wasn’t part of the discussion and there are facts to which we are not all privy. I have to believe that, since the FBI actually had a recording of the call, if there was something problematic that it would have come to light whether through the pursuit of Flynn, Mueller’s investigation, or some kind of whistleblower or leak. I don’t get the FBI asking Flynn about the conversation when they already knew what he said. Does that make sense to you?

In some ways this scenario sure sounds similar to Obama saying he would have flexibility after the election. No doubt there are differences but this definitely has a familiar ring to it.

Flynn gets the call from Mar-a-Lago, then immediately calls the Russian ambassador. Let's assume, as seems reasonable, that the FBI has that as a consequence of FISA warrants.

They know that during this call, which occurs right after the first call, that Flynn is working to undue sanctions against Russia, and at someone's direction. Kush? Trump via Kush???

If you are the FBI and you want to find out who is behind this effort to help Russia, AND WHY, you are going to need some errand runner like Flynn to flip.

He didn't. But he lied to Pence about it, too. Someone trying to put some daylight between themselves and Flynn???? So fire Flynn and try to give appearance that he acted on his own ?

Flynn now sees light at the end of the tunnel. Maybe he is now willing to tell someone who told him to call the Russians..... And here is Barr to the rescue. The pressure to save himself is off.

Also makes sense. And explains everything. And he keeps quiet.

Is it possible your scenario is valid? Sure. It’s also possible the stuff being thrown out by Rush and other right wing media is entirely accurate. We’ve already seen several people caught in lies so they could easily be part of a coup against Trump. The truth could also be somewhere in the middle. That’s why I agree any public reviews of this situation would be quite interesting. I tend to believe the right wing side of it but I’m willing to admit it could be because of my political bias and I try to keep my eyes and ears open to all scenarios, whether I like them or not.

Did you send a memo to the Muell letting him know you cracked the case? If not you should have, might of saved him from making an azz out of himself.
