General Flynn completely exonerated

Yes, the dismissal of the charges was clearly political. The point was to mollify Trump and continue the narrative of "nothing to see here" in terms of Russian-Trump collusion.

But all it is doing is reminding people, 6 months before the election, that Trump won last time with help from Russia, then paid them off.

Never give up. Never, ever give up.

Remind me again which Americans Mueller and his boys brought charges against related to Russian collusion.

The Democrats are the criminals here......they manufactured (made up) crimes against people that didn't exist.

Holy Crap. Seems Podesta testified that the Steele dossier was paid for by Hills and the DNC. Game over. Heads need to roll. And Gowdy and Ryan, watch your backs.

NOW WE KNOW: John Podesta Admits in Testimony Both DNC and Hillary Campaign Split the Cost for Bogus Trump-Russia Dossier That Launched the Coup

No Mercy: Trump Sweeps the Leg After Dan Bongino Dunks CNN’s Brian Stelter Over Flynn Case Spin

CNN’s Brian Stelter had a meltdown Sunday during his “Reliable Sources” program over the fact that President Trump and the “right wing media” were spending so much time writing about and/or commenting on the Justice Department’s decision to drop the case against Trump’s former national security adviser Gen. Michael Flynn.

“They’re treating the Michael Flynn story like it’s a bigger deal than the deaths of 2,000 Americans a day,” Stelter stated indignantly, outraged that conservatives were not interested in moving on from the blockbuster news of Barr’s decision as quickly as he and his network were.

As Joe Biden would say, this story really is a big f***in’ deal, but of course that’s not the way Stelter sees it, because media narratives and what not.

My RedState colleague Bonchie noted in his write-up on Stelter’s rant that the real issue for Stelter was not that conservatives and Trump were not focusing on the Wuhan coronavirus death toll every day:
Let me translate that for you. He doesn’t want to cover a story that pushes back on his network’s four-year-long false narrative, so he’s instead going to virtue signal while standing on the dead and proclaim caring about government corruption means you want grandma to die.
Author and former Congressional candidate Dan Bongino was among the many high-profile conservatives who laid into Stelter over his ridiculous, self-serving whineathon:

Didn't we already know this?

Yes.

But it is important to the illusion of exoneration/conspiracy to repackage old news and pretend it is some startling and damning revelation. Its how Trump and his slurpers work -- all drama, no substance.

Flynn lied to and misled the FBI in an interview in December 2016, a month after the election. How do you get that it favored Clinton? Nobody outside of the WH or national security had ever heard of the guy.

Turns out, he was of dubious smarts and easily manipulated by the Russians. So much so that Obama warned Trump he was trouble and not to hire him.

But Trump did. Despite everyone knowing he was a bit of a Russian stooge. Hmmmmm....
So then Trump’s firing of him proves that Trump isn’t in bed with Russians, right? I follow your logic. That makes sense to me.

Shocker of a known Democrat but you probably forgot to mention that. Bet a very large % of those 2,000 are liberal hacks

Duh. Of course a large percentage of them are democrats. AUSAs and USAs typically come from the top of their classes at good law schools.

Trump says he fired Flynn because he lied to Pence about Russian contacts.

Flynn pleads gulty TWICE and goes down.

Three years later Barr intervenes to exert political influence and drop charges against Flynn, to feed the Trump narrative that it was all a hoax.

Now Pence says he'd welcome Flynn back?

If you can follow the ping pong ball here its pretty obvious what has gone on. Flynn was a scapegoat for whoever told him to contact the Russian ambassador about the sanctions. He was used. He has been used again, this time to promote the hoax claim.

I hope they try to bring him back in. The Congressional hearings to confirm him will be VERY interesting.
