In my county cops guard elementary schools and teachers are armed. It's pathetic that our county had gotten to that point

How do you not grasp that fact?

And for the record, my best friend/cousin was decapitated by a drunk driver two weeks after he got his driver's license. I have no love for drunk drivers. But I also won't think with my feelz when our basic human rights need to be defended against gov't overreach. When they can write laws that incarcerate people they haven't proven guilty, it's all over with but the crying.

Never supported arresting him but he shouldn’t be allowed to drive; tow his car, call a cab, etc 🤷‍♂️

Not even close to true, they play an extremely valuable role in breaking up fights or removing violent students. Unless you want that responsibility to fall on a middle aged woman? Most teachers are female

Yeah those 2nd graders are getting big nowadays. Love the videos of cops hauling them out in cuffs

They are also under no responsibility to protect anyone but themselves. We've seen that in action

Sounds like you moved from one really sh!tty city in Virginia to another one in Florida. Maybe you should find a profession where you can work in a nicer place?

You ignorantly act like this is the only place it's happening. We live in a great place but with a sheriff who likes to see himself on tv. But there are cops in schools nationwide

If you referring to Parkland then yes that is a good example but they provide much more than that. Drugs and weapons are a major problem in schools, even in elementary schools. It isn’t uncommon to find drugs on 2-3rd graders. I have had 1st graders passing out condoms and knew what they were used for. You would be surprised what middle school students are capable of and are willing to bring to school

Don't blame anyone but yourself for where you live. There isn't some BLM meltdown in East Tennessee and as best as I can tell the law enforcement officers aren't cowing down to the victim crown.
