Georgia does not deserve the Sugar Bowl

Where should I look for it?
I need something to read.:)
Check the Cades Mays thread here about the time Pittman left for the HC job. Speculation started immediately on VN. Might be something to it or it may mean absolutely nothing. Since the season is over now if we do not hear anything in the next week then there was nothing to it.

UGA has that many not playing, win, and people
think we can compete with them. Lol.
They missed 6 starters, who were replaced by 4 and 5* players, and looked very average vs a Big12 team. BTW those starters won't be there next year either. Neither will a few others.

Most linemen win most snaps. He doesn’t look good on the outside. He looks slow clumsy and stiff. He is a guard all day long and thats not a bad thing
Most guys 6’6 330 are not going to look as mobile as a Rb or Wr. His athleticism looks similar to every other Lineman that size.

We are making a step up next year. Georgia will either stay about the same or regress a little bit. Remember that we were competitive for 1/2 of the game this past year.

Listen to the announcers praise Georgia for their season which was easily underwhelming compared to expectations.

He is in the starter rotation for
us and would help the team at Center or Guard. Edit: If he hits the transfer portal.

Next year UGA's four classes will be 3, 1, 2 and whatever they end up this year which will be no worse than 5th, most likely 1, 2 or 3. We would be completely out of lotion around here if we were sitting in that position and were 36-7 in the last 3 years. I get hating the enemy, I take shots at them wherever possible but I don't get the Mary Poppins routine many continue to have about Kirby as he continues to stack Top 5 classes, go 8-4 against the Top 10 and dominate the East like no one since Spurrier (UGA's 3 in a row is the most since Spurrier's 5 in a row). On a positive note, Spurrier's streak was broken by Tennessee, I think Kirby's will be too, but it isn't going to be easy.

Good post. Kirby has dominated the East like Spurrier did at Florida yet has gotten zero credit for it.

Yeah, ok. We’re also picking up three more 5 stars this week.
Maybe, maybe not. Stars don’t win championships anyway. Coaching and play on the field does. Georgia will not win a championship under Kirby. I know it hurts you to hear these facts, maybe you can go to Dawgnation for some consolation and therapy.

That really isn't accurate... Florida won the SEC East the first five years of divisional play from 1992-1996. Under Smart, Georgia has won the SEC East three out of four. It's not the same... and let's face it, Georgia hasn't had an SEC East opponent as good as Tennessee was from 1992-1996 either.

Your problem is Kirby. That is why you are going to regress over time. The NC championship loss two years ago is the pinnacle of the program. You are the Atlanta Braves of Football except they won one championship more than Georgia will win going forward.

I think the difference is Spurrier also won the conference 5 out of his first 7 seasons, in addition to winning the division, so he's not Spurrier yet either.
