This. I know we all love Bray, but there's no question which QB was more impressive last season.
The guy probably threw for close to 3,000 yards and a 60% completion rate. I don't care what the circumstances are, those are eye popping numbers for a Freshman.Murray was a RS Freshman. Bray was a true freshman and only played in half of the games.
Murray also played the whole season with a solid OL, and the best WR in college football last year.
Color me unconvinced, but we will see what he can really do this year.

I think you're probably right. He really needs to get to 9 wins this year. Everybody points to his record against Florida, but they've got to just get back to beating the teams they should. I don't think Richt can survive many more losses to Vandy, Kentucky, GT and the Central Floridas of the world. How many losses do you think Georgia has to take for richt to lose his job? Im thinking if they go 7-5 he's gone! What's yalls thoughts?

WRONG. They looked good on paper but they were awful last year. Our O-line coach left to Texas and most fans were willing to help him pack. The O-line underachieved last year badly.
I'm not saying we go 13-0, not going to happen, but I think 9-3 is very reasonable for us this year. That also may be enough to get us to Atlanta.
Murray is the truth, there's no arguing that. Sure AJ and Durham are gone but we have other playmakers that have to step up. I hear Marlon Brown is having one HE11 of a camp, I figured UT guys would like to know that. We also have Orson who will be a bigtime weapon for us this year.
Don't listen to the irrational fans, all fanbases have them.

I think everybody just naturally assumed they were going to be good because they were experienced. But you're definitely right. They massively underachieved and not having any sort of a dynamic threat at RB hurt also. Murray did a lot of it on his own last year.WRONG. They looked good on paper but they were awful last year. That's certainly an easy typo to make, let's put 30 seconds on the clock and see how many oliver cromwell jokes we can make.
According to Wikipedia, "he fervently believed God was guiding his victories." -- YEP, sounds like a Georgia team.
Also "Nicknamed 'Old Ironsides', he was quickly promoted from leading a single cavalry troop to command of the entire army" -- yep, sounds like it, the first and second string guys were arrested and kicked off the team, so he WAS quickly promoted. -- Also, we like the nickname 'old ironsides'. That's awesome
Also "Cromwell was elected as one of the Top 10 Britons of all time." -- Well isn't that like being Player of the year in the Big East?
"His measures against Catholics in Scotland and Ireland have been characterised as genocidal or near-genocidal" -- yep, he Killed 'em. But they weren't SEC linebackers.
How is it padding his stats? He won the job, so he played. It's not like they were running the score up and throwing the ball just for show.He also started a lot more games too so he was able to pad his stats. I'm not saying he isnt a good QB but he was 6-7 and lost his bowl game to Central Florida.
I know that Murray is a very good QB. I just want to see what he can do with this new OL and WRs.
How do you think that running game will be with Crowell getting most of the carries?
Also, that OL might have underachieved, but there is a reason that they started all the games and not the guys behind them...
I can't say that I'm 100% comfortable with Crowell getting the most carries. I would want Malcome and Samuel to take some of the pressure and punishment off Crowell.
I know Crowell is catching on very quickly and has been very coachable but starting a true freshman against SEC teams always makes me nervous.
