The cheapest were 450 to 500 before the Florida game. They dropped in price after the Bama game. Vol fans just need to go and be loud.

The Dawgs have two teams # 14 or better before a showdown at Neyland. When they are 0-2 this will be a different game. They have only beat #20 Kentucky this year. Ticket prices/ room prices are based on today, not then.

If our team didn't have a chance to win does anyone think prices would be so high? I see this as a good sign for our team, and at worst for our local economy

Ticket prices have gotten so obscene I rarely go anymore. 4 tickets, driving up from Mt. Juliet, parking, food and etc. is $1,200 or so….. for upper HH type seats and driving back home after the game.
Was going to to got the SC game and this is what I was looking at. ….. when ticket prices didn’t drop at all by late Friday night I said F it.

I just checked and tickets for Georgia are starting at 279$ before fees. Over 325$ for a decent seat before fees.
That makes them close to 400$ right now.
They will be 700$ by game day if Tennessee beats Mizzou.

This is why I do season tickets and only go once or twice a year. Sell the rest and I’m almost going for free.

Not happening with 2 losses. UGA-UT last year got to that price range because it was a #1 vs #2 matchup. And they were already near $500 a couple weeks before the game last year.
True but if a miracle happens with Mizzou or Ole Miss knocking off UGA in the next 2 weeks. A loss by Fla turns the game in Neyland into the SEC East title game.

Seeing this money thrown around by individual's , give me an idea of how much money would be out there with a gambling collective. Targeting vulnerable refs having money problems.

theres a difference between capitalism and gouging, and right now its absolute gouging.
how so? or where is the line?

We have the best product in years. demand goes up.
we had gotten used to artificially low ticket prices because of how bad we are, so even a return to an accepted "normal" would see some sticker shock for people used to going during the Dooley-Butch-Pruitt years of struggling to get to bowl games.
we are still in the race, and are playing against one of the best teams in the nation. demand goes up.
We actually removed some seats. supply went down.
theoretically when they removed seats they added more features, value and demand went up.
Inflation is up.
Season ticket allotments were expanded, meaning single game option supply went down.

the games are still sold out, even UConn is sold out, so the demand is clearly there. its only gouging if people aren't paying the prices.
