Georgia has no chance

Well, my grandkids sometimes say some stupid stuff also but I don't feel the need to create a thread on VN showing how stupid they are, but you do you.
And you found it important enough to claim the post was ridiculous. I noticed you did not give a compelling argument, but You do you

If attacking me gives us a winning season then I am all in, but all the put downs in the world will not help us from being 8-4

Considering we lost several of our starters to injury yesterday, I expect
this to be a close game for about 8 minutes of the first qtr. We ran 3 plays
in first qtr yesterday.

If we win the flip, please take the ball first so the game will be close for a longer
period of time.

Please stop calling an off-tackle run when its 2nd or 3rd and 14. And please, if we
ever get to the middle of the field and its 4th and 1 or 2, try a fake punt at some point
during this season. Thank you.

Does Georgia even have a chance? Espn has them 5th in the playoffs behind Bama. I think that means we win next week at Neyland. 45-14 doesn't mean anything. We are talking about ole miss.
Georgia can lose to Tennessee beat Alabama and THEY WILL BE IN the PLAYOFFS. It is simple.

Barring any major upsets
1. Michigan/Ohio St. winner. Loser doesn't make the playoffs
2. Florida State
3. Washington/Oregon winner. Loser doesn't make the playoffs
4. Georgia (even with a loss to Tennessee).

The only drama is if Alabama wins SEC Champ. and Texas wins out. Then Texas should be in, and SEC is left out.

This has been true from the very beginning of them releasing the first rankings. TV loves to play you.

A lot of you are dead wrong in here. Tennessee will be a completely different team this weekend in Neyland. Georgia will also take a loss vs Bama and miss the playoffs. Beck hasn’t had to play in a crazy road environment one time this year, and hell no, don’t say Auburn. Neyland crowd can literally flip this game upside down and make life hell. It is up to the players essentially though.

Realistically, there is very little chance Georgia doesn’t roll us in embarrassing fashion. They are simply head and shoulders above everyone if College Football…probably even Alabama.

However…we see stranger things happen every week. We’ve seen this team look like world beaters from time to time, albeit inconsistently this year.

So…pump a little sunshine and think of how epic knocking Georgia down a peg would be. Why not us?

I watched some of the GA/OL Miss game. GA looks very good.

If VOLS are to have a chance they'll need a very loud home crowd and to bring their best.

I believe!

Go VOLS
Tennessee needs to put their best 22 players on the field. Out of the 80 or so players you can't convince me some are getting a chance. On to basketball at least they give 100% the entire game and actually work together as a team.

I agree we're not getting 100% from the football athletes. They go through the motions with little sustained emotion and fierceness. Football is a violent sport. Those who choose to play need to play with great intensity or get moved to the bench.

I imagine this will be one of the most competitive championship seasons, with the list of participants as follows. Unfortunately, Georgia will win their third.

Sec Ga
pig pen OSU
atlantic comic club fsu
crack 12 wa

This all happened so Georgia would be over confident. We will blow out the Dogs Saturday!!! Probably not, I just believe in miracles!

Season does not end today. My point was what espn claimed. People Hate me reposting this by how else can I make my point
I think you are not realizing the graphic is showing percentages. Georgia still has a tougher road to the playoffs. As they eliminate those opponents, their percentage will go up. Think of it like Texas Holdem, you start with pocket AA and your opponent has KQ, your percentage is 100% to win. Then the flop comes and it’s KQ4, your percentage, of winning the hand, just went way down. However, if another A comes out, you’re back on top.

Sorry, I like playing cards and this is the best analogy I could think of.😂

Than why are they #2 in the cfp? If it were Tennessee that had 2 national titles, and no Heisman trophies this site would be on fire. Espn has them 5th in the playoffs
Because the committee doesn't take past seasons into consideration, etc. Just the current schedule and wins/losses. ESPN does NOT have them 5th in the playoffs. That's what their computers deem as their percent chances. It literally means nothing. All that counts is where they are put by the committee.

Yeah, he definitely doesn't understand that it's just a graphic and means nothing. ESPN counts for nothing in this. Only where the CFP committee puts them.

I like your annology. I am just worried when the Vols have 4 aces the playoff committee will prefer someone else because we lost the last hand. I agree we got to win a majority of hands/games but because we aren't Bama We get passed over

The young players that are playing good for us need to get some action this week. Gibson needs to be out there, give him confidence and let his talent loose. How far along is Matthews? I know there is a learning curve but we can’t coddle players forever either. I know it is tough for true freshman, it just shows how much we need these players to take development seriously. Any player that can make a positive impact this week needs to be given the shot. Hopefully we play sound inspired football this week. As much as we have to learn consistency it’s just as important to learn and bounce back from a butt kicking. GBO

Yes! Especially Gibson. I hope we see the passion and effort this week regardless of the outcome.
