If the winner’s Alabama, they might still need help. FSU and Michigan win and you’re having to make the argument that 12-1 Alabama should be in over the 12-1 Texas team that’s already higher ranked AND beat them this season.

That's definitely a problem if FSU wins and Michigan wins. It's hard for me to believe they would leave Alabama out as you know Nick Saban's going to retire at some point and you know they'd love to have him in the national championship game to win another one.

Auburn completely screwed up the playoff by completely screwing up what should have been a win over bama.

I'm not sold on florida state: Easy schedule. Clemson was down this year, the ACC sux, and they beat LSU. That's it.

They’d both be New Years 6 Bowl Games.

The team that really gets screwed is Penn State, who gets pushed out of a New Years 6 game if Alabama wins.
