Georgia will dominate college football for the next 3 years

When you can run the ball at will, it ain't luck. In the second half Georgia outscored Oklahoma 37-17. That is domination.

Oklahoma basically just got a lucky start that caught Georgia off guard. Once Georgia got their footing they dominated. Then they gave Oklahoma that flukey fumble return TD that made it a game once again.

If they played this game over next week, we all know Georgia would roll. And easily.

OU dominated UGA in the first half. UGA won the game in OT - stop acting like UGA dominated. They didn't. They had to score a lot of points to win this game - no defense.

Wrong a lot? I'm pretty sure I'm the only person that picked UCF to beat Auburn. And my predicted national champs showed remarkable resilience as they powered their way to the national championship game.

Lol you think your the only one that thought UCF would win? They were 12-0 and had Scott Frost a coach analysts loved stick around to coach the bowl game

And yes you are wrong a lot that’s just a fact you got 2/4 of your bowl games right congrats your nastradamus

You make terrible comparisons too lol Bosa is kampman because they both have 2 good years? Well Bosa’s 2 good years were right out the game kampmans were in year 6 and 7 little difference there wouldn’t you say

Bosa was a top 3 pick and has performed like a top 3 pick

Deshaun Watson being rg3 is another terrible comparison

You’re not what you think you are but hey if your right about Georgia and they beat bama I’ll give you that one

Ok, that's just crap .. quite a few picked UCF knowing AU would never get up for that game

Actually it went exactly as I predicted.

Baker Mayfield and Oklahoma started with all the momentum. I suspected the news of his illness would give them the early edge while Georgia would be on their heels. Then I said Georgia would take over and dominate. Now I didn't think Oklahoma's momentum would last the entire first half. I thought Georgia would take over in the second quarter but instead it took them till the third quarter to dominate.

Once the third quarter hit you saw the real Georgia. They totally dominated Oklahoma until a flukey fumble by Sony Michel gave momentum back to the Sooners. But just like champions do, Georgia responded and finished the game out in OT by dominating.

Georgia is exactly who I thought they were. The soon to be national champions.

The inexperience of the OU coach in these type of situations showed in the second half.

UGA is a senior laden team. Kirby will get a bye for many years to come due to this year - next year will give insight into whether he is really that good of a coach or if this was the result of the recruits he inherited.

Not nearly as "senior laden" as so many make them out to be actually. Two RBs that already have sufficient replacements, Two OLBs who have more than sufficient replacements, a cornerback who was good not great and a LT from an OL that is as deep as it gets.

OU dominated UGA in the first half. UGA won the game in OT - stop acting like UGA dominated. They didn't. They had to score a lot of points to win this game - no defense.

First half jitters. Once they settled down they made Oklahoma look like a FCS team. They ran thru them at will. Don't let the score deceive you. This was total domination by Georgia after they spotted Oklahoma a 17 point lead.

Sup Dawg,

Monday should be fun.

Yeah, trying to keep myself out of the "just happy to be here" mindset .. but after a game like last night, Monday is almost just gravy. Great crushing of Clemson by the way. Exposing Kelly Bryant is what I figured would happen.

Uhhh yeah. I had people telling me the game wouldn't even be close. That UCF couldn't withstand the Auburn defensive line.

And lets not forget the fact that UCF were 10-point underdogs.

Nobody thought they were gonna win. That was basically my bolded call of the entire postseason.

Believe me, you weren't "the only one" ... I called it, most people who know how AU plays and Malzahn coaches called it.

Swift was good this year but he aint Chubb and Michel I don’t even know why he got a single carry last night the way Chubb and Michel were running

They were ripping off long touchdowns literally every drive

The one where Chubb broke like 3 tackles was incredible he is gonna be a beast in the league

Swift is going to be a superstar man .. yeah, last night not withstanding, there were games were Sony and Chubb were not proving to be effective and Swift was THE MAN .. Holyfield is a starter on a lot of teams also but was 4th this year on that team.

That Chubb run should have gotten more play as being one of the best of the year.

I agree, his strength and speed will be a huge plus in the NFL

Hate it... but gotta root for anyone against GA... these Dawgs are going to be insufferable here in middle GA.

I bet. Dawg fans seem to have thought they just completed an Alabama-like dynasty after they were ranked #1, much less winning the SEC and Rose Bowl.

If they win the national title, holy cow will they think highly of themselves. Congrats, your first one in 37 years. Even Tennessee has one 19 years more recent than that. Georgia should be such a more storied program than they are.

Lol... Total domination except for giving up 500 yards and double OT.

Lol.... Total domination.... Except Oklahoma had 500+ yards of offense and went to double OT.

It takes a special kind of dishonesty, even by troll standards, to spin a game where you pick the favorite, are totally wrong about how the game played out (GA to dominate but are actually out gained and taken to 2OT) but claim anything special in the way of prescience.

A reminder that our guru, who set aside 4 games where he was "most confident" and described as "lead pipe locks" managed no better than a child flipping a coin.

Its amazing though how people are talking like Georgia should have won better but didn't so somehow it should be a disappointment. A lot of people picked OU and a lot of people, especially half way through the first half (and it was said on here MULTIPLE times) thought OU was going to, I believe the quote was, "boat race" UGA. So now, because UGA gave up 500 yards of offense and went to 2 OTs, it wasn't a great win??? It was a HUGE win and there is nothing debatable about that.

We're really talking two different things entirely. GA won and moved on and that's that. The post you're referencing was entirely about making fun of "a certain poster" who is peacocking for picking a favorite to win and being completely wrong in how the game played out.

I get that .. and considering him being right about a pick is akin to winning with lottery numbers so him picking my team felt more like a jinx than some kind of justification. But I have heard everything on here and elsewhere from "they weren't impressive" to "Oklahoma lost it, UGA didn't win it" and I think we all know the narrative on here would be much different had it been a UT team that beat OU.

Georgia made a dramatic adjustment from the first half to the second half. I attribute that to coaching and the desire of the players to heed the coaches and apply it on the field with the considerable abilities that they possess. They are a good team, no doubt about it and they won that game.

But I question why a Georgia fan, after that incredible comeback, would even bother posting on a University of Tennessee football site. Jeez, man, can't you just celebrate the accomplishment and not give a damn about what any other team's football fans are saying because it doesn't matter what they think or say?

You are in the National Championship Game, why care about Tennessee right now?

You must be new here .. post in the "Around the NCAA" forums quite often .. because it's AROUND THE NCAA. Sure, it's heavy UT fans but many are really good peeps to talk to along with some from other schools. Is that ok with you? Yes, we're excited about the win but just because UGA won the game doesn't mean I am going to stop posting in a community I visit regularly.

Most of that was during the first couple of drives when Georgia was confused.

In the second half Baker Mayfield threw for only 87 yards.

And if it wasn't for a fumble return TD that changed momentum, Georgia probably wins by 2 scores.

Hey buddy. Don't listen to him. We enjoy having you post here. I always welcome different views.

Now lets talk about your boy Roquan Smith. He looked rather small last night and was getting engulfed easily by blockers. He's physically not in the same stratosphere as Daniel Bituli. Look for NFL lineman to engulf Roquan like the Oklahoma lineman did for most of the game yesterday.
