Georgia will dominate college football for the next 3 years

I have never met a UT fan like you, that looks at UT football completely opposite of me EVERY SINGLE TIME. It's unbelievable. If you are God, I'm Satan. If you are East, I'm West, etc etc. It's crazy.

Your rosy outlooks on UT the last couple of years are so opposite from mine. Your new prediction is so opposite of mine. Not making fun of you for being wrong either. We have all been wrong , specially about football. It just amazes me. You and I are black and white. You are the Santa clause of UT football, I am the Grinch.

Then statistically speaking you've been right about practically everything. If I ever find myself in the classic "do I cut the red or green wire" to defuse a bomb I'm going to hope there's time to get D4H's input and do the opposite of his suggestion. At least triples my odds of survival.

The key to whipping Geogia is to keep their defense on the field.

If Oklahoma can get the pass completions going early, extend a few series, and then start attacking the ends (speed sweeps), they should be able to wear that fat-ass defensive line down. Then, you can start punching them in the mouth and re-establish a balanced offensive attack.

I believe that the Oklahoma coaching staff is smart enough to review the first game with Auburn.

Georgia goes down to Oklahoma.

Oklahoma is gonna whip GA’s ass period!!! Whoever thinks they win 2 of the next 3 titles is ABSURD!!!! TN will contend for the SEC title in 2020 but be serious NC contenders in 2021. I say it’s gonna take at minimum 4 years to rebuild this program. First couple years under Pruitt will likely determine how long he coaches here..

D4H has been wrong about just about everything he types, including Dobbs for Heisman. We DO NOT have a national championship leader at QB and there is not one on the horizon. I won't even get into the mediocrity we have at other positions but it ain't taking us to a title any time soon. Meanwhile in Athens, GA Kirby just signed his 3rd straight 5* QB and 7 of the 20 five star athletes on the recruiting board for 2018!!! Pruitt deserves a chance to succeed but if Coach Fulmer doesn't stay out of his business we will never know what the man can achieve here. It is going to take 3 maybe 4 years before we are competing for the SEC EAST. That is just the honest truth and if you can't see it, take off your orange colored glasses.

I don't think Georgia beats Oklahoma but if they do, there's very little chance they beat the Bama/Clemson winner.

To echo what's been mentioned a few times already, I feel they're the least likely of the four to win it all.

I've been saying for months now that Georgia will be the new dominant program in college football. They will win the national title this season. And they will be the team to beat moving forward. Kirby has them rolling right now on the field and in recruiting. The 2018 Georgia team is gonna be young so I expect them to lose a couple of games next year. If I had to guess, they'll probably go 10-2 next year with losses to Auburn and LSU. But in 2019 and 2020 Georgia will be considered a JUGGERNAUT program like Saban's Alabama teams circa 2012-2013.

However, fighting Georgia for that top spot will not be Alabama or Florida. It'll be Tennessee. Jeremy Pruitt is the only guy who can recruit at the same elite level Kirby is recruiting at right now. And Pruitt has the benefit of the state of Tennessee being loaded with unprecedented instate talent in 2019 and 2020. Tennessee will land top 3 recruiting classes in 2019 and 2020. And those classes will catapult Tennessee into a championship contender by the 2019 season. We'll be too young to win it all in 2019 but by 2020 we will be ready to become national champions.

Look for the Tennessee vs Georgia match-up to become the preeminent rivalry in college football over the next 4 years. Tennessee vs Georgia in 2019 and 2020 will be what LSU vs Alabama was a few years ago and what Florida vs Tennessee was in the 90s.

Here are your next 4 national champions in college football:

2017 - Georgia
2018 - Southern Cal (not 100% confident on this right now but its my best guess)
2019 - Georgia
2020 - Tennessee

You make this post in a thread and people ignore it, so you post it in the NCAA forum and it doesn’t get enough attention, so you basically copy and paste your s*** into this forum as a last ditch effort to get people to recognize you.

You’re not psychic, you’re not an expert, you’re not a scouting guru. You are a child who is desperate for attention. Get over yourself.

Sorry to disagree, but don't overlook Clemson. Clemson just locks and loads every year and they are very well coached. Clemson will have their hands full with OK but I still believe that will find a way to win. Championship teams always find a way to win. I don't necessarily agree that Georgia will beat Alabama. Not one understudy of Saban has beaten Saban and I don't personally believe Smart will do it this year. Down the road maybe. Go Vols.

"I've been saying for months now"

You mean your first group of predictions were awful, so halfway through the season you made a bunch more. You happened to get UGA getting to the playoff right, so to validate that pick you are now doubling/tripling down on it and pretending UGA will the best program in the country for years to come.

Never forget that two straight years D4H predicted UT to run undefeated to the national title. :eek:lol:

Well, hard to pick against them being the team to beat after last year's class, this year's class and already being out front with next year's class.

As for the pick for them to get destroyed by OK, that's a wild prediction at best considering OK has little to offer on defense and their offense hasn't faced a single defense better than UGAs and that's a fact. I know Pawl brought up that they faced OSUck but that same OSUck defense made Nick Stanley at Iowa look like Joe Montana .. great measuring stick.

Fields will be lucky to see the field in the next 3 years. I wouldn't worry about him. I actually see him transferring out if he doesn't change positions.

Fields will be on the field NEXT YEAR. Why is this so difficult for people to realize? UF did it with Leak and Tebow, UGA did it with Greene and Shockley. It's wishful thinking at best.

Time will tell on Pruitt vs. Smart vs. others. In regards to Smart, the only true comparison is their time as DC's at Alabama. Under Smart from 08-15, they averaged 4th in total defense and 3rd in scoring defense over those 8 years. The 2 years when Pruitt was DC in Tuscaloosa they averaged #1 in both total defense and scoring defense. Both are very good DC's who worked with exceptional talent that they both helped gather.

In regards to recruiting, I knew Pruitt was a good recruiter from the past and these past 2 weeks further reinforced that opinion.

As for why he left FSU and Georgia, it may have been for the money, to be in line for Richt's job, or for personal reasons - I don't really care.

What I do know is that I look forward to him transforming our defense to a total team effort versus the individual-oriented circus we have seen over the past few years. I also know that with Pruitt, we will be in play from the top talent in the country going forward - no matter what state they may be. This has not been the case in the past really since HC Fulmer and I can understand why opposing teams would have some concern going forward.

Sorry breh but this year's recruiting struggles are the beginning of the end for Alabama as the dominant program in college football.

Prepare yourself for that Bobby Bowden style backsliding that is about to happen with Saban.

I was looking all over for the "recruiting struggles" and all I found was a current number 6 class ..
Alabama 2018 Football Commits

Now, that could fall a little more since it is looking like a possibility that Quay Walker flips but still .. as much as I am a different school's fan, I don't see this as struggling at all.

Individual oriented circus??? Might be the line of the day right there. Pruitt as a coach is a good one .. it's his attitude that gets him in deep doo doo .. the UT administration is going to have to have a thick skin to say the least with him around because he has ZERO filter and if you piss him off, whether he's your boss, you're his boss, his counterpart or whatever, he just says whatever comes to mind. Sounds admirable but it just doesn't work with most people.

Now, I don't know this for a fact, but the reasons us UGA fans were told that Jimbo wasn't jumping to hold on to him at FSU (they didn't offer him a raise or anything when it started to be known he would leave for UGA) was him pissing off other coaches on the staff and even having some extra-curricular activities with some females you shouldn't mess with. Again, that is PURE rumor and could be FSU fans just trying to piss on a parade after it "felt like" UGA "stole" him from their staff.

Folks on here acting like the Dawgs are just now getting talent, GA has always had talent. Mark Richt was a great recruiter, basically every year he was there they finished in the top 10. The Dawgs have a lot of talented seniors and the best thing that happened for Kirby was those guys came back and did not go pro last year. Look for UGA to take a step back next season.

The difference of 2 and 3 big time recruits and 6-10 means a ton to seasonal success. Stud running backs stud quarterbacks to stand behind an entire lines of stud lineman. Scary.

Alabama may be down another linebacker. That is problematic for them.

I agree. I really do think Clemson beats Bama. The injuries at linebacker combined with the fact Clemson has arguably the best front defensive seven in the game which means Hurts will have to make passes makes me worried.

If Clemson beats Bama again then it is time to start putting Dabo up there with the Saban and Meyers of the world.

If you don't like Tennessee fans, why do you regularly post to a Tennessee fan forum?
