Oregon is pretty good

That win keeps looking better and better for UGA. I personally have no problem with the Champs being #1 until somebody beats them. While there schedule up to now doesn't stack up to ours they are the Champs and they have taken care of business. I want them to be #1 when we knock them off their high horses. Living amongst them will be glorious!

Possibly they are if we could see them play a defense ranked higher than 50. We did in Georgia and they got a mud hole stomped in them.

Defenses faced by Oregon
Georgia- 4th
Eastern Washington- 123rd Dead last in FCS
BYU- 106th
Washington St- 55th
Stanford- 102nd
Arizona- 125th
UCLA- 49th
Cal- 100th

Oregon ( like the Vols) has improved through the season. I also honestly believe discrediting losses by ranked teams and subsequent record declines is missing a major component. When a ranked team gets beaten, frequently the demeanor and attitude of a team as well as their confidence can be damaged.
For example there is no doubt UT is performing beyond the preseason perceived capabilities due to improved confidence and player “buy in” as they have rated success and increased momentum.

SC 5-3
Kent 3-5
Missouri 4-4
Auburn 3-5
Bandy 3-5
Florida 4-4

SOS = 75

Tennessee:
Ball 4-4
Pitt 4-4
Akron 1-8
Florida 4-4
LSU 6-2
Bama 7-1
Martin 5-3
KY 5-3

SOS = 19
F Akron. Not only are they hurting our SOS, but they played dirty and we’re still dealing with it.

Is GA's record based on how great they are or the fact that many of those teams were not as competitive? What teams have they faced as strong or stronger than us?

I personally think, as a fan who was raised on SEC football in East TN for 18 years but living in PA for the last 9, that UT is gonna be a very, very rude awakening for UGA

I’m a diehard Ravens fan having been born in MD, so that’s why my username is Sizzle. For Terrell “Sizzle” Suggs

IF we miss playoffs, I wouldn’t be surprised if we play Oregon in a bowl game

Kirby Smart is overrated, we already beat the best team in football and that was Alabama . This game is going to be a cake walk.
Tennessee 45
Georgia 29
Our defense is coming around at the exact time. Besides we have the next gen Steve spurrier as our coach.
Ssshhhh! We’re Back . Next 10 yrs will be sweet.
