Georgia's weakness can't be exploited by UT?

I hear over and over how Georgia has a bad secondary. Why did it have to be that? UTs weakness it appears is the passing game and I'm hopeful something can click and they gel at the perfect time because Georgia is more bearable than they have been in years and I don't want Tennessee to squander the chance to take their place atop the SEC.

I fear that the game will turn into a slogging of Tennessee's defense doing everything they need to do to stop Georgia from scoring but then they just turn around and run it up the gut into the teeth of the Georgia DL because they can't solve the big pass play puzzle.

I hope I'm wrong but at the beginning of the year this felt like an automatic loss but now I know Georgia is nothing to be scared of and totally beatable so I hope UT can do their part and take advantage of the situation!

I feel better about the game than I did early in the season, when UGA has exposed they aren’t the UGA of past few years…we have a chance, depending upon Nico situation, but night home game at UGA…it’s gonna be tough. D will have to set the tempo, and offense make enough gash plays.

I agree. I think explosive plays (on offense and defense) are going to be needed to crush Georgia's crowd.

We will if our offense does not lay an egg like they did at Arkansas.
Our offense has been laying eggs ever since SEC play began. We just now scored 30 for the 1st time and it took playing the worst team in the SEC at home at night to do it!

I think they need to clear that hurdle again to beat UGA.

Two things must happen to win this game. Change your play calling everybody knows what’s coming. Nico needs to play like an average seasoned QB. He doesn’t have to be a hero, but if he plays his usual game it’s going to be a long night. Of course the defense needs to carry us again.

Can't??? You're that absolutely certain about it?

Did you watch UT's game last night?

Im sorry but Squirrel White looks like he has been euthanized by NY's Dep of Enviro Conservation. Thorton is next best and is shows flashes of awesome but cant stay healthy. We have seen it. If Nico has any kind of protection, he can sling it in a tiiiiight window. But can our guys catch it? so far, that has been iffy. And when they FUP, the opposing D begins stacking the box and things go bad from there. MUST stretch the field early and make then honest.

Georgia will enter the game with an attitude of having something to prove. Tennessee will come in knowing they have a chance to return to the national stage in a BIG way. Listen, don't you hear it? The roar of cannons, the shouts and screams of men in battle, the distant orange glow of fire of the war at Steadman's ridge?

From what I saw from the UGA defense against OM they gave up a lot of yards down the middle but for some reason we are unwilling to throw to that part of the field. That is going to have to change if we want to win that game

Our offensive will have to look great, something it’s not done all year.
“Hope” is great and people will spend all week convincing themselves and others why Georgia is so beatable. Maybe so, but the reason TN likely won’t win is because TN. Can’t help think about SC ‘22, FL ‘23 and AR ‘24. And we beat OK on the road this year but that effort wouldn’t have beaten GA.

Now bama beat Georgia with outside runs. Georgia scored on bama on deep passes.

We beat bama with deep passes.

I think the ground game is the secret to beating bama.
