Georgia's weakness can't be exploited by UT?

Not sure why Squirrel White is being criticized, he had a huge 4th down catch yesterday.
It's the canniVol way. Way I see it, Squirrel isn't a cat, and if he was, he'd be a sand cat instead of a lion. You see, the Albino Chipmunk is a bantam weight player in the SEC. As a bantam weight, you get hit often enough by woolly rhinos, you learn to get your azz down before you're gored. And yet he makes catches that matter. There are some fans who appreciate this, and some that don't.

Here's our guide

  1. The team that makes the fewest mistakes will win.
  2. Play for and make the breaks. When one comes your way—SCORE.
  3. If at first the game—or the breaks—go against you, don’t let up . . . put on more steam.
  4. Protect our kickers, our QB, our lead and our ball game.
  5. Ball, oskie, cover, block, cut and slice, pursue and gang tackle for this is the WINNING EDGE.
  6. Press the kicking game. Here is where the breaks are made.
  7. Carry the fight to our opponent and keep it there for 60 minutes.

Squirrel is one of our more productive players. He is playing through injury and still getting it done. Anybody dissing Squirrel is a true nut! No pun intended! GBO
I protest! Nuts have a useful purpose, whether as a food source, or a parent to new tree. CanniVols on the other hand have no useful purpose. Ragging pn players doesn't count, as it isn't useful.

Right now this offense reminds me alot of Randy Sanders' offense. Hope CJH plays loose and opens it up. Our talented LBs need to improve quickly.

From what I saw from the UGA defense against OM they gave up a lot of yards down the middle but for some reason we are unwilling to throw to that part of the field. That is going to have to change if we want to win that game
They do not trust Nico throwing over the middle. Out TE game has gone missing.

Georgia's weakness right now is its quarterback. A stationary quarterback out of sink with his receivers with a suspect pass blocking oline. Our defense has a chance to have a really good day.

And, if the stat I saw yesterday is true, the fact that Georgia has become a turnover machine. They have relinquished the pigskin 15 times in the last 6 games, including 12 interceptions of passes by Carson Beck. Hopefully we can help pad those stats next Saturday.

Our offensive will have to look great, something it’s not done all year.
They really don’t. We have a championship caliber D and UGA is, checks notes, 50th in total offense, 104th in rushing (between 103 Ga Southern and 105 Ga State!).

We need to clean up penalties, control the ball and not turn it over.

Our offense has been laying eggs ever since SEC play began. We just now scored 30 for the 1st time and it took playing the worst team in the SEC at home at night to do it!

I think they need to clear that hurdle again to beat UGA.

Maybe the worst offense of the Heupel era comparing it to the 1st year. The early games were fools gold. Because of this, the UGA game is going to be really tough in Athens. A slugfest won't favor the Vols.

I hear over and over how Georgia has a bad secondary. Why did it have to be that? UTs weakness it appears is the passing game and I'm hopeful something can click and they gel at the perfect time because Georgia is more bearable than they have been in years and I don't want Tennessee to squander the chance to take their place atop the SEC.

I fear that the game will turn into a slogging of Tennessee's defense doing everything they need to do to stop Georgia from scoring but then they just turn around and run it up the gut into the teeth of the Georgia DL because they can't solve the big pass play puzzle.

I hope I'm wrong but at the beginning of the year this felt like an automatic loss but now I know Georgia is nothing to be scared of and totally beatable so I hope UT can do their part and take advantage of the situation!

Our tight ends were open a lot yesterday and we didn't throw to them underneath allowing Mississippi State to crowd the box. I think that may have been by design and the tight ends will be a huge factor in the Ga. game. That will also open up both the running game and the deep ball. We threw very few 10/15 yard routes yesterday. My biggest concern is how we got ripped in the A/B gaps yesterday. Our linebackers were constantly out of position from what i saw.

There O-line has been shaky, of course that’s because while they have good backs they aren’t deep nor have the elite back and haven’t ran the ball very well at times. Their quarterback has been pressing and also been getting a ton of pressure. But they like us have playmakers when they are clicking. But Georgia has shown some weak areas on both sides. Still, we will have to bring our best to win in Athens. But we are capable of doing just that! GBO

Well, our O did score 30 on Miss State but guess what Miss State scored 31 on UGA at Athens so UGA is the most beatable I've seen them since their last home loss in 2019. I hope they get the ball first and we get a 3 and out and maybe that takes the crowd out of it. The 2022 game we got the ball first crowd noise was deafening and we jumped & 1st & 15 and we all know the rest of the story, seemed like we were behind the chains all night.

I feel better about the game than I did early in the season, when UGA has exposed they aren’t the UGA of past few years…we have a chance, depending upon Nico situation, but night home game at UGA…it’s gonna be tough. D will have to set the tempo, and offense make enough gash plays.
I think this game is a toss-up.

We cannot allow UGA to make us one dimensional on offense. In order for us to win, I feel like Nico is gonna her to have his best game of the year. UGA will more than likely try to sell out to stop the run and force Nico to beat them. Can he? Just as big of a question is can the WRs be sure handed?

UGA looked like a team that hadn't ever played organized football vs Alabama. Florida was taking it to them before having to go to their third string QB. Ole Miss physically smashed their OL. This isn't 2021/2022 Georgia. Reading their fan comments, they are praying Beck gets benched because they don't think they can run against us.

Georgia is a talented team. They can put things together at any point. Heupel has a tendency to lay eggs on the road as well. That said I feel much better about our chances than I have in recent years. This defense is special and Beck doesn’t like pressure.

First team to 20 probably wins this game. The first scripted possessions for both teams will tell us a lot.

Imo running up the middle will not work against Ga. It will be a wasted play without mixing up the run with some outside runs and also some quick hitting passes. To win we need more of a mixture of plays than we have seen this year. I believe we have the potential to beat Ga. depends on how much of a mixture of our offense play selection we use. I just don't see us being able to run up the middle, hopefully I am wrong, because that is what I think we will try.

If we are able to pressure their qb we will be in good shape, if not, given the time to throw he is very good, but terrible when pressured.

Takes points to win….. we just struggled to put up 30 against MS. I have faith in our defense, but I still think we need 24-28 to win that game.
