:D To all you Vol fans who were bashing my posts about ND being a major threat to TN I hope you have opened your eyes! Notre Dame manhandled a very talented team with a FRESHMAN QB! Your two freshman will be in for a very tough game against a superior and confident team! Go Irish!!!!

I will admit Notre Dame looked good at home. But do not forget the beat down they took against BYU.

And don't forget about the 100 thousand plus that will be at the game. ND looked good but that was a home game vs a weak UM team. Bring it on ND! :rocks: :gun: :machinegun:

I give ND some credit for a nice win, but Michigan was way overrated as they are most years.

Meechegan may be overrated, but the Irish looked pretty good to me. D@mmit, everytime I think we may have an easy opponent......

When I said "a freshman QB", I meant that Michigan had a frosh at the helm, much in the way TN has two freshman at QB. Believe me, I know Brady Quinn is a soph after living through his freshman struggles.

I'm looking at this TN game as ND's third toughest game left after USC and Purdue respectively.

GO IRISH!!!!

Agree with all the other posts that ND looked and played well at home. I believe like most that UM as well as most of the BIG 10 (11) is IMO. Purdue has looked the most impressive, and a worthy opponent to any power team in the country.

I think that all the UM win did for ND was kind of take Ty off the hotseat. Even though no ND coach has ever been relieved of duty without fullfilling their contract, Ty may have/will be the first if things really don't improve.

Either way it should be a great game. Another one I really want to be at, especially since one of my best friends is a "Fighting Irishmen"! Poor Bastard, it's probably not his fault. :p

The Notre Dame game will be UT's 8th game of the season. Tennessee's quarterbacks should not be playing like freshmen then. And since it is November, when the Vols roll historically, I am not too worried about Notre Dame.

Big, slow Michigan is alot different than Big, fast UT. UT by 17. ND has nothing and a win over an overrated Big Ten team is nothing to brag about. Even a blind squirral finds an acron every now and then. The only thin lower than a Fighting Irish is a Crimson Tide!

This week I have no excitment for the Notre Dame game. The Irish will have 4 losses by then, maybe 5. The Vols will beat ND and steal there gold helmets. :shakeit:

Don't care about ND right now. We have Florida to worry about this week.

I agree,we need to concentrate on kicking one teams :moon2: at a time.

While I don't disagree that the Vols will try to steal ND's gold helmets (as well as their wallets, jewelry, and other valuables) I think that you SEC fans have a major case of over confidence. The SEC is probably the 4th best conference in the nation behind the ACC, Big 10, and Big 12. Your so called power team snuck by an Oregon State team that got crushed by Boise State. Darius Walker is going to make your stadium his own personal playground, running for about 140 yards and 3 TD's. You heard it here 1st. Copy this post and talk to me in November.
GO IRISH!!!!

Wow, so you beat a highly overrated Michigan team. Who cares? I would put up the SEC head to head against any conference. You are just a Big 10 wannabe school who will get your butts kicked in November by Tennessee.

Remember about 3 coaches ago when ND was actually good and anybody actually gave a damn??

I can allow myself to get stirred up by the Bammers, but as far as I'm concerned Jason might as well be pimping Vanderbilt. :snoring:
