Getting ready for Saturday -- what's good food for tailgating at home?

(Note: As I won’t be in Athens, sticking with my “lucky” 2022 VOLS game preps:
- Wear my lucky “KUA ‘AINA Haleiwa“ t-shirt my daughter got me awhile ago.
- Prepare (as main protein) hot chicken wings.
- Do my normal routine before game (e.g. about a 4 mile walk)
- be prepared to yell and holler at TV from afar to propel our team to victory!

Hasn’t failed yet.... but think this will be an epic game just like Bama!

Baked Potato
Salad
$150 bottle of Cabernet

Trying chicken quarters for the first time in the new pellet smoker.
Brine for 30 minutes, no more, the hit em low for 40 minutes then crank it to 400 for the last twenty or so, id pull em when ya turned the heat up n drop on the 400

Pat em dry after brining and lift the skin when you add the spice

I like the dry rubbed wings from Lil Ceasar, some Ritz crackers w/ pepperoni slices and Colby jack cheese cubes, Fritos and bean dip, wavy Lays chips with French onion dip, fresh baked cookies from the deli, cold Dr Pepper to wash it down, Lil Smokey beef sausages in a bbq sauce.
I f*** with little ceasers wings

Thanks for the tips! I’ve done a few pork butts and ribs with excellent results thus far. Chicken makes me nervous for some reason.

Gotta get my confidence up for a big daddy brisket before too long. Maybe the SECCG…

Electric screwdriver: 2 parts vodka, 1 part orange juice, one part seltzer.

(There are many versions. This is mine. Simple, effective.)
