Ghost candidates: A new way for the GOP to cheat

And before you play “but Trump” the exact same is true of the GOP running Trump Vs Hillary. How the **** does trump win the ticket?
Well, the flaw in your argument in that situation is that Trump was not the establishment choice at that time. Jeb Bush was. It was supposed to be Jeb vs Hillary. Hillary was able to fix it so that Bernie lost, but the GOP tried as hard as they could leading up to the convention to get Trump out, going as far as staging a Romney floor fight at the convention.

What do you think about this?
I think it's perfectly legal. And I didn't vote for the candidate I thought Abrams could be most easily, I voted for the candidate that has the best chance of beating Abrams but the one I would most like to see as governor - if not Abrams.
Frankly, voting any other way would have made no sense to me.

If only the GOP had been successful, this country would be in such a better place.

But you don't question going to bed with Trump winning, they "quit counting for the night", and wake up by 6 am with them"finding" hundreds of thousands of votes for Biden? In the middle of the night when nobody was counting?🤣🤣 I wasn't for Trump or Biden, but you don't even gotta have common sense to see what happened there.

It's best not to engage with him, it gives him encouragement to post more crap

Care to explain where I'm wrong? You seriously think a guy who got the lowest percentage ever on his previous presidential run, came back blubbering with dementia and got the most votes in history?🤣 You guys think the strippers like you also, don't you?🤣

Queeny has many deep conversations with strippers. What are talking about?

What would you call having Dems vote for Kemp and Ratburger so as to get weaker candidates in the general? Operation Chaos - a la Stacy Abrams

Idiots have an open primary (no need to be party registered to vote in party primary), thats what you get.

Axios Atlanta readers share their primary crossover plans

Point is, they all do whatever they think they can get away with - fix it so none of them can cheat

One could argue Trumps complete botch of Covid is what got us where we are today.

I dont love Biden. When he won the primary, I didnt think he could win. I dont think he is doing a great job, but I also think he was dealt a horrible hand.
LOL

I didn't question the legality. I'm questioning if it is ethical.

Oh I believe it was 100% ethical. I actually believe that if more people did what we did, politics would be in much better shape.
We DID NOT vote for a bad candidate in hopes that it would be easier for the person from our party to win. (that would be unethical and the epitome of selfishness. We actually voted for the candidate who is much more likely to be Abrams.
The worst possible outcome for GA was for Perdue to win.

Now that I think about it, if only repubs voted in dem primaries, and only dems voted in repub primaries - things would be far better within one election cycle.

3 charged in 'ghost candidate' scheme in FL state Senate race

Run a fake candidate to dilute Dem votes. How low will the GOP go?
So it seems like the crime was fraud, stealing money through open campaign shenanigans. And it's actually the second such case of the guy doing similar activity there in Florida in 2018.

Folgesson was the campaign runner, long time D, who ran multiple long time D campaigns over the years, most seem to be in Florida. And he has been cashing PAC checks for personal gain.

These "fake" mailers were apparently real enough to be sent out. The fake is that they werent original to the candidates campaign. So plagiarism/fraud there.

Seems like the issue is that PACs exist and no one really knows where that money comes from or where it goes, cotton eye Joe.

The crimes were financial and corporate disclosure, but you cannot evade the fact that the purpose was to get R's elected. That one of the schemers used to be a Dem doesn't change that. (Trump used to be a Dem, too).

I don't go to strip clubs.

I know its hard for you to understand given we live in Trump country, but most people in this country outside of our little bubble absolutely despise Donald Trump, and would have voted for ANYONE that could beat him. Myself included.

And not to derail this thread, but here you go

Graph shows thousands of ballots reported at once, overwhelmingly for Biden
So you absolutely despise Trump but vote for a man who has displayed behavior in the past and during this current presidency that is ten times worse than anything Trump has displayed.

Perhaps you should listen to interviews by Tara Reade as well and see what she has to say about your current president.
