Ghost candidates: A new way for the GOP to cheat

The crimes were financial and corporate disclosure, but you cannot evade the fact that the purpose was to get R's elected. That one of the schemers used to be a Dem doesn't change that. (Trump used to be a Dem, too).
His "used to be" was still active the year of the crime.

But I really dont think the labels matters when money is getting thrown around. And I very much doubt he cared who got elected in the end, as long as he got his.

I have still yet to see anything that makes the candidate a fraudulent candidate, beyond participating in the financial/corporate fraud. Sounds like everything was filled out correctly. Anyone has always been able to run under whatever guise they wanted, and that fundamentally means they want to pull votes from other candidates who may have won if fewer people had campaigned.

The Artilles case seems like a much better argument for R tampering. At least there actual Rs are listed.

Ghost candidates violate the spirit of proper elections?
