I have had a few experiences. In the last house I lived in before my dad passed we had quite a few things happen. One night while I was drifting off to sleep I heard something hit my door. I proceeded to open the door and found a coat hanger. Now we kept the coat hangers in the bathroom, which was down the hall, there is no way it could fall and hit my door, and the force was enough to snap the hanger. It was only me and my dad and he had been asleep longer then me so I know he did not throw it. Another thing that happened was while we were watching tv. The door to my room slammed shut and then we heard beating on the door. The windows were shut so there was no wind, and how do you explain the pounding on the door? The last real thing that happened was a small ball thrown at my dad while he was showering. When I finally convinced him it was not me I could tell it bothered him. Soon after my dad passed and I was forced to leave the house, I have never been back.

If you have the time to kill search Bell Witch on youtube, select the 4 part series by BlackCatMamba. She does a serious reading of the story start to finish, sorry too lazy to post a link.

I almost forget one of the first things that ever happened. We had a lock on our back door that we never used because it was only lockable from the inside. It was rather old and you had to give it a good twist to lock it. So one night we come back from church and the door is locked from the inside. This was no dead bolt it was a lock added from a previous owner, it was impossible to lock it and close the door. We never did figure out how it locked.

You serious Clark?

Tell me an experience or something that you've heard about it.

And UofL, good stories. Keep 'em coming. And you went anywhere haunted around your location?

Never have been anywhere haunted. But me and some close friends plan on visiting an old house that has had some reports from people around town. Also while I am at it, I live in Jessamine County (Nicholasville) and anyone from around here may know about the reports of West Jessamine High School being haunted. Apparently two or three witches were hung on a tree on the property. The tree still stands and last I checked there was a monument. There have been reports from Jantiors about sounds of foot steps, voices, and lockers slammed. Keep in mind this is after hours. There have also been reports of the football lights Turing on by themselves.

West Jessamine High School

Nicholasville's West Jessamine High School (jessamine.k12.ky) has a long reputation as a higher, but haunted, place of learning. Students claim that lockers open and close on their own, vehicles self-start and strong wafts of perfume permeate rooms. According to StrangeUSA.com, janitors report cases of assaults by flying trash cans and football field lights mysteriously turning on and off. To make even more hairs stand on end, janitors and teachers allege that a humming apparition and three ghostly women dressed in red walk the hallways in the dark of night.

Pretty cool website. Check it out and tell me what you find out... :good!: and where is Nicholasville?

When my mother was a little girl, they lived in grand junction Tennessee. It was a old farm house. As my grandpa was a farmer.

Four of the girls (my mother included) were in thier bedroom. Two beds. Two girls in each bed. My grandmother always put a chair on the side of the beds so the girls wouldn't roll out of bed.

All the girls were in the room laying in their beds trying to sleep. They were awakened by what they believed to be my grandfather walking around the kitchen. Mom said it sounded like him fixing a snack.
Shortly after all that started mom said the foot steps appeared to be coming down the hall toward their bedroom. Mom said none of them made a peep as they were supposed to asleep.
The foot steps stopped at their door and walked in. It was oblivious dark so they couldn't see anything. Then it happened.
This entity made to my moms bed and she believed it tripped over the chair and fell straight across the top of her and my aunt.
Mom said they screamed bloody murder. My grandparents rushed in to the room and found nothing. Mom had a bruise show up on her mid area of her body the next day. There was no window in their room for a person to escape and they checked under the beds, closets and all. I have talked with other aunts involved and all say the same thing.

The next morning when they got up there was a pair of high heel shoes under the edge of the table. Belonged to no one in their home.

Great looking boxer! Gunner says hello!

I've owned 4 boxers. One of the best breeds imo. Smart, loyal, and protective. My Anna woke me up in the middle of the night by licking my hand and made me follow her to the door. She started barking and scratching at the door. There was a stray dog in the yard and she wanted out so she could go chase him out of the yard lol.

Gunner is a cutie! He reminds me of my Gage who passed away last year.

Nicholasville is really in central Kentucky. We are just south of Lexington.

Thank you! And yes, I've noticed they are all three that you stated above. He's caught on very well with listening and understanding the basic commands. Gunner flips if he sees a rabbit anywhere close to the outside deck lol. and Gage was beautiful! I see the resemblance. :hi: Dog's truly are mans best friend.

And back on topic, that kind of stuff with the crane just cannot be explained. Not by a scientist or paranormal investigator. There is no reasonable explanation. Really makes you ponder what could have caused that.

I taught all my boxers to shake my hand. I would put out my hand and say "Shake" and they would put their paw on my hand. It was so cute.
