Have you seen the movie The Tao of Steve? I learned from that movie that if I am going to do something, I'd better be excellent at it. Always been a Dick, now just a more excellent one.

Your meaning?

Outside of Williamson County, Sumner County has some of the highest achieving schools in the state.

So we have someone who does not believe in ghosts. Come to Sumner County sometime. I can arrange an overnight stay at Cragfont. Your belief system will be seriously challenged during your short stay.

I was "What's up, dude" and he didn't say anything or move an inch. I briefly thought to myself that was strange. I walked passed him about 20 feet to the MWR door and it was locked.

So I turned around to walk back to my room and he was gone. Total darkness, nothing moving anywhere. I literally stopped in disbelief. I just started looking around trying to understand what just happened and what I think I just saw. I didn't sleep much that night. Not that I was afraid of what happened, but it went against my thinking. I still try and debunk what I saw, but there simply isn't any explanation. There was nowhere for "it" to go.

i may have asked this before in this thread but anyway,why do ghost still have there clothes on ? are there clothes ghostified too ?

Okay. Had a MOMENT today. Figured I'd share it with y'all.

You can see by my location where I'm stationed. That being said, there's a building here (Building Six) that I've been trying to get into for the last 6-8 months, due to reports of some left-over "German WW2 memorabilia" still left etched into the ceiling of one of the rooms. Today, a friend and I get access to the building.

Got inside, and the "memorabilia" was still there, still visible, and we took pictures. No big deal. Decided to see what the rest of the building was like, so we went looking. Found the stairs to the basement. The stairs is one of those kinda steep sets, where you go down a flight, there's a landing, and you gotta make a left turn to keep going. Mind you, neither of us could find the light switch near the stairs, so we're both using our cellphones as flashlights to get down these dark stairs.

Chris is leading, I'm following. We get down the first flight of stairs, and as soon as Chris' feet touch the landing, a light comes on downstairs and we hear water running. Of course, we're all like "what the fork", and continue on. We get to the bottom of the stairs, and around the corner from the stairs is a small bathroom/shower area. The light in the bathroom is on, and the faucet (you'd have to lift it to turn it on) is going at full-blast. The funny thing is, and I learned this when I went to the bathroom area next to it, the light in the bathroom is motion activated....the other light didn't come on until I was a good three feet into the other bathroom, and there was no way the motion sensor caught me and Chris coming down the stairs (remember, we still had to make the right to get down the final flight of stairs, go down that set of stairs, turn right around the corner and cross 20' to get into the bathroom/shower area).

We're both like "yeah, this is some straight up X-Files stuff", but continued on our way through the building with nothing else happening. Just thought it was interesting and that I should share.

A young woman recently joined a ghost and spirit group on Facebook and told of her recent experiences with a spirit.

She had sent a few days in the hospital recently and came to her mothers home with her child to mend before moving back to her apartment. For the past 4 nights, the ghost of a woman and her pet sit at the end of the bed. The woman watches her and her pet gets down on the floor and walks out of the room every night.

The mother of the woman believes that her daughter attracted this spirit during her stay in the hospital and believes that the spirit followed her daughter back to her home. I have known the mother of this woman for several years and trust her when she says this happened.

according to whose ghost it is i guess :) but why do they bring clothes? are the clothes haint'ed too ?

wasn't it Loretta Lyn that built a new house and said it was haunted with civil war soldiers?I assume they were in there uniforms,was how she knew

sounds more like wishful thinking to me and has one of them ghost hunting shows ever found one ? i forget what instruments they are suppose to be using,something about either a electronic or magnetic spike,I think that most of them are caused by the metal in the places they are looking,but of course there electronic,so they make em spike when the show says to lol

I honestly don't know. Maybe it's the way our minds try to rationalize what we are seeing?
Or maybe the ghost is trying to connect with us in a way we would understand?
