It's only possible if the paranormal entity is either composed of material properties or if the soul is not simple. If the paranormal entity is composed of material properties, then why is it paranormal? Why isn't it normal? Or, is the argument that these material properties do not obey the laws of nature? Wouldn't this rather just imply that what we think are the laws of nature are not laws?
If the soul is not simple, then what is it? What are the parts of the soul that make up the soul? Are these parts material parts that obey physical laws? Or, are these special "soul" parts? If a soul is made of parts, then one can lose a part of their soul. Further, this implies that one soul can be divided into two souls. These are strange thoughts, but they may be intellectually defensible.
