If Barnyard really wants to make a move, he better do it soon enough to get into the Anthony Grant race. He's not going to get a better coach to take that job under the circumstances.

Im trying to figure out why won't UK. give Gillispie a little more time to get the program going? This is just crazy..

If there truly is truth to the rumor that UK is looking for a new coach then Anthony Grant would be wise to wait as long as possible.

If the rumor is true and Kentucky is firing BCG, Anthony Grant would be wise to go ahead and send Mitch Barnhart a preemptive "go to hell"

If Kentucky makes a change, they're going to be sitting around in two weeks wondering what the Hell they've done when they're interviewing a bunch of B-listers.

If Kentucky makes a change the best option they can get will probably be Ford. I'd love to see the status of the program in 2 years if that's true. They'll be happy to make NIT appearances then.

Why would they? They're delusional enough to think Billy Donovan's decision will be different two years later.

Jodie Meeks is so overrated it's not funny. His running mate Patrick Patterson isn't far behind.

I like Kiffin, and I think he was the best available. Without him ever coaching a college game, however, I would submit that declaring that things have "worked out" is a little premature.

But by this logic Ben Woodside would be considered a Naismith candidate. Tennessee's defense was awful and Kentucky has limited scoring options and Meeks gets a million shots due to that. If he would have scored under 30 that game then he would have underachieved.
