Global Warming not real???/

The author of the above article should learn about the carbon cycle.

There is no evidence that CO2 has ever caused
significant warming on Earth when the concentrations
were within 10-15 times of what they are today.

Water vapor is, by far, the most important greenhouse
gas in the Earth system. Water vapor accounts for
about 95% of the greenhouse effect on Earth.

Earth's temperature variations are much better
correlated with the Sun's solar activity/sunspot
cycle than with CO2 changes.

Global warming fears. Science keeps getting in the way of the people who refuse to accept that Global Warming is real. With the potential to be worse that feared.

Massive methane release sparks global warming fears | TG Daily

It doesn't take much to scare you does it sparky??

What happens when your global warming fears are sparked??
Do you get flaming fears???

I don't know what to tell you, if it was a kitty cat
up a tree and afraid to come down, I could call the
fire department. :)

I'll look forward to that.

Which are your favorite drugs Sparky??

You know you've lost the debate when you must
resort to personal attacks against the opposition.

In 1999 there was an extended amount of seismic activity
under the Arctic Ocean, the USS Hawkbill
submarine was there at the time.

July 1, 2003 New York Slimes (extract)

Earlier surveys in the depths near the North Pole had
identified a couple of seabed volcanoes in one place
along the seam, which is called the Gakkel Ridge.

The researchers said they were shocked when more
than 80 percent of the instrument deployments
detected such emissions over the 600-mile portion of
the ridge that was surveyed.
(That's 480 miles)

June 26, 2008 Agençe France-Presse: Reconstruction
of the Gakkel Ridge beneath the Arctic ocean, where
a valley filled with flat-topped volcanos up to 2 km
wide and hundreds of metres high has been found...

The eruptions - as big as the one that buried Pompei -
took place in 1999 along the Gakkel Ridge,
an
underwater mountain chain snaking 1,800 km from
the northern tip of Greenland to Siberia...Both sonar
and visual images showed an ocean valley filled
with flat-topped volcanos up to 2 km wide and
several hundred metres high.

That's why we had less of an Arctic ice pack in 1999.
(at the top of the CO2 hype for melting Arctic sea ice.)

In 2009 the Arctic ice was greater than it had been for
thirty years. (It's much more complicated than that
having to do with old ice, new ice, snow cover and
other factors, simplistic propaganda scare articles
such as the one you produced sieze on one small
factor and immediately revert to chicken little bs.)

Science is not about faith, or consensus, it's about verifiable facts in the real world.

So the farm boy goes off to college over the protests of of his dad who says it's a waste of good money and comes home four years later to announce he now has a BS degree.

The dad isn't impressed, saying; "Son you can get all the BS you want for free down at the feed store any Saturday morning."

"Well I'll go back then", says the son and does and returns two years later announcing he now has an MS degree to which the old farmer informs him that MS just means more of the same.

So after a couple of more years the student returns home to the farm to tell his dad that he now has the highest degree one can get and it's called a PHD!

"Son," says the old farmer, "I hate to tell you this but PHD just means "piled high and deep."
The farm boy goes off to college and when he comes home his parents arrange a big get together of all their friends and relatives. During the party the dad is with a group of relatives and asks his son to say something he learned in college. The boy is a little shy and says his education doesn't make him any better than anybody else but his dad insists. The son relents and says ok, there's a math theory that says pi r squared. Everybody says how nice and the party moves along. The dad disappears so the son goes looking for him. When he finds him sulking in the garage the son asks what is wrong. The dad says son, I'm just sick you spent all that time in college and haven't learned anything. The son said what do you mean. The dad said son, everybody knows pie are round, cornbread are square.

Do you furnish a decoder ring to go with your communiques?
That was supposed to be a link to a wmv file about a humorous video about Minnesota but I can't figure out how to link wmv files from emails.

So then you concede the point?

Global warming is all hot air?

You are positioned to learn nothing. You are a closed minded reflection of the very things you try to enlightened the world to open it's eyes too. You only see the world though an antiquated perception of a technological dullard. Devoid of a futuristic vision beyond what you so obviously can not perceive or refuse to accept to be the technological advancement of the evolution of man kind and his under standing of his environment and the universe.

Why don't we concentrate on real problems; lack of jobs, world hunger, housing market, etc? These are real problems. Instead of wasting time and money on something that has little to no factual data.

You could have just answerred no and continued to present evidence to support your opinion.

FYI you appear to have learned nothing in this exchange yourself.

Again when you merely attack the character etc of those you debate with, you only underline the fact that you have no intelligent argument.

Furthermore if things are as they appear and you subscribe to the futuristic vision of Al Gore, then I have given you way too much credit for intelligence from the beginning.

As for understanding the technological achievement of mankind, the evidence I am producing uses all of that and the latest findings as well.

You weren't in line the day they passed out common sense were you??

Once more, the only dullards in the equation are the al-Gore groupies! :hi:

Glad someone can find humor in ignorance.

UK lawmakers take heat off 'Climategate' scientist - CNN.com

So much for the conspiracies...

Oh, who am I kidding. You just think they are in on it too, now.

I know they are in on it and I've already posted details on this whitewash.

How can you be sooooooo gullible???

First off, never ever take what the Communist News Network aka CNN at face value without doing some research of your own.

I'll run it down for you once more, you must have been absent that day. (or absent minded today as the case may be.)

Exclusive

The peer leading the second Climategate enquiry at the
University of East Anglia serves as a director of one of
the most powerful environmental networks in the world
,
according to Companies House documents - and has failed to declare it.

Lord Oxburgh, a geologist by training and the former
scientific advisor to the Ministry of Defence, was
appointed to lead the enquiry into the scientific aspects
of the Climategate scandal on Monday. But Oxburgh is
also a director of GLOBE, the Global Legislators
Organisation for a Balanced Environment.

Sir Muir Russell, an AGW advocate himself, appointed Geoffrey Boulton and others to the panel of inquiry.

Boulton worked at the University of East Anglia’s School of Environmental Sciences – where the Climate Research Unit (CRU) is housed – for 18 years until 1986 and has been a strong advocate of the AGW from it's inception.

Boulton’s views clearly contradict the founding principle of the inquiry – to appoint experts who do not have a “predetermined view on climate change and climate science”.

At least three members of the six man panel have been revealed to hold strong views on human induced climate change.

Dr Philip Campbell, editor-in-chief of Nature magazine, stood down in mid-Febuary, after it was disclosed he had previously given an interview in which he defended the actions of researchers at the CRU. He only lasted two hours on the whitewash panel that has been a complete farce from day one.

IPCC chairman Dr Rajendra Pachauri has announced they will hold another investigation, yeah right, that's like asking Al Capone if their was any corrupttion in Chicago or having the IPCC investigate climategate would be like Ken Lay heading up the Enron enquiry.

Remember Enron?? Ken Lay was one of earliest and strongest supporters of a mandatory cap and trade sytem, not because of climate change concerns but because Enron was in a position to make mega $$$$ on the CO2 scam.

You can label it a conspiracy or not, I have never done that, it is a bunch of corrupt crooks covering for one another's asses though and their so-called science isn't science at all but an abuse of science for whatever the reason that motivates them to do what they are doing.

Furthermore, Muir Russell, who heads up this so-called investigation, is a member of one of the most vehemently pro man-made global warming advocacy organizations in Europe.

While absurdly billing himself as impartial and unconnected to climate science, Russell is intimately involved with The Royal Society of Edinburgh.

The RSE has thrown its weight behind the global warming movement, lending its absolute support for legislation aimed at reducing carbon emissions by 80%, a process that will devastate the global economy and living standards.

This organization has been even more vehement than national governments in its advocacy of the man-made cause of global warming, calling for such drastic CO2 cuts to be made in the short term, not even by the usual target date of 2050.

Not only that but the hearings are held in private with no transcripts to be published.

So all you are going to hear about this is blather from the likes of CNN.

Koolaid can be addictive.

Wasn't it the nazi minister of propaganda who said; "the bigger the lie, the more people who will believe it?"

Wisdom is never antiquated.

Your vision of the future is rendered nil by the blinders you wear from your indoctrination.

Only a technological dullard would believe that CO2 determines the mean temperature of Earth.

It would take 100,000 years traveling at light speed (over a trillion miles an hour) to go from one end of our own galaxy to the other and we have only discovered less than 5% of the whole universe which consists of more galaxies than we can count.

I'm Damned well sure that I understand at least as much of what mankind knows as you do.

A couple of years ago I met with some people once a month at an observatory that is rather famous for some discoveries that date back to the 1950s.

I can call the head of that observatory for advisement on his cell phone at any moment.

Your slander is misplaced, dullard my sweet ass!!!!!!

You vastly overestimate your own knowledge.

You know what??? You probably didn't notice the huge sunspot just observed on the sun in the last few days.

When there are more sun spots, Earth warms, when there are less sun spots, the Earth cools.

Here is a prediction for you, due to increased recent techtonic activity I predict we will witness increased volcanic ativity at some point in the not too distant future.

Less than two hundred years ago we had a summer in Tennessee in which we had sleet in July and frozen over ponds in August due to a volcanic eruption.
