You have to understand, 520 is a hardcore LA homer. That's why he thinks UCLA is always right and Duke is always wrong, even as UCLA is making terrible coaching hires while Duke is playing for a Final Four berth.

It's hard to call Alford a terrible coaching hire in my opinion.
We will see how he does in the long run.
The only reason u have given for ucla not being a good job is unrealistic fan expectations. If that is the case then ther are no good jobs period.
Yeah, I can understand how many of you can hate a team that plays good fundamental basketball, they understand how to play like a team, the players go to class, they graduate, they don't get arrested, they don't play dirty, and they pretty much do everything the right way.
Oh, and they have a coach who teaches team basketball, stays loyal to his program, and demands the best from his players on and off the court.
Duke plays harder and smarter, they win and they do it the right way. Yeah, I can understand why so many of you hate them. Now, feel free to go back rooting for the Marshall Hendersons of the world.

John Wooden is no more, although the ghost of him remains (THE big problem at UCLA), UCLA has one NCAA title in the last 37 years and in the last three decades UCLA is a footnote of NCAA BB history. Enough reasons? Unrealistic fan expectations at UCLA? Unrealistic, but probably not as much as at UK.
