The way he handled the Landry situation did not show a great deal of integrity.....who is the college coach with impeccable integrity?

Being honest with the guy when he finally knows what is going on with the situation has much more integrity than telling recruits that doing something is against NCAA rules, telling the recruits to not say anything about doing the violation of NCAA rules, lying to the NCAA when confronted about the violation, and then committing another violation right after. Not saying it was the greatest of situations regarding Landry, but if that is the worst thing that Martin has done (which it is), then we have a coach with integrity. The only real comparison is if it turns out Golden plagiarised or had relations under Pearl and nothing was done, but when it happened under Martin, then they can be truly compared accurately. And it is obvious who has more integrity there.

If Zo just realized that Landry didn't belong here on April 23 then I really question his talent evaluations and his ability to get the job done here. He held him out as a last chance emergency guy in case he could get no one else. That's worse than any meaningless NCAA rule.

About NCAA rules, excuse me if my give a da@n is broken after what all has went on with Auburn, Alabama,Duke,Oregon, Ohio State and the list goes on and on. It's a corrupt organization and their rules are beyond stupid.

As for pearl breaking another rule, he never broke another rule after going on tv, they claimed he violated the bump rule and then dropped the allegation.

Every conversation does not have to be a comparison between past coaches. It's about coach Martin and what he does as our basketball coach.

Ok, fine. Martin overachieved his first year, was on par his second year based on preseason predictions (which were based on the expectation of the All-SEC player returning and Martin did it without him), he did not have a "bad" loss at all this year based on RPI, his recruiting classes have improved every year, his players have not been arrested for drugs or illegal weapon activity, the one issue he's had ended with him taking the most of the heat in order to let the player save face as both parties moved on. THAT'S what Martin has done. Now he needs to make the NCAA tournament.

Whether you give a damn about the NCAA committee is irrelevant. I think having to wait for a red light at 2:00 in the morning is a worthless rule/law, yet I do it because it is the law whether I give a damn or not.

They bring Pearl up continuously to bait and switch because they can't defend his being taken to the woodshed at every turn.

Yes and ZO committed three violations last yr and they were all ridiculous.

This is a prime example of what I was talking about the other day, if you wanna criticize someone fine, but at least be factual about it.

Martin has beat Greg Marshall, and now Billy D all 3 times they've met, that's hardly being taken to the woodshed.
