Memphis is stockpiled with players that UT offered and did not get.
UT is not as bad off talent wise as many want to make out, but the bottom line is that every player on UT's squad was a plan B, for nearly all of the Memphis roster.

Memphis played suffocating defense, particularly on point. While Cuonzo has Golden playing 3 feet off his man most the time. Never getting any ball pressure. Is this the great D we were sold on? Hardly. CCM is not a good defensive coach.

If firing Cuonzo was on your mind midway through his first season, you deserve to be bashed. To say it was premature would be a huge understatement.

i agree that we lost to a far superior team but Cuonzo has not really been coach K out there either. actually he has been caught not making the right in game adjustments on many occasions. not to mention we keeping jacking 3's up and not making them.

Sounds just like all of Pearls teams as well. Stupid thread, is stupid.
