Guys, look at this picture of Cuonzo's tearful farewell to the locker room yesterday. I know his firing isn't officially confirmed (yet), but I think it was obvious to everyone in attendance what was happening:

Wonder how awful this thread looks now.The numbet 6 team in country got it handed to therm but i doubt Coach K is worried about his job. What a great story these Tenn vols are

So I'm stupid for calling out Martin for being a terrible bench coach and game schemer. Yet you're so smart because you'll wait until next year to come to the same conclusion with a mountain of evidence in front of you right now?

I like this post be UT IE.

UT is one of a few schools to operate the AD on a profit. I think we'll be OK and have plenty of money to pay a real coach. Hamilton just went out and hired on the cheap trying to hit a homerun in attempts to save his job. It didn't work.

This one is good too.

Robert Morris would roll UT (11-4, RPI of 71), but that's beside the point...the point is, now that Memphis is playing defense, Memphis is winning games.

Another dumb post. Losses to Quinnipiac (2), Wagner, Penn, Cenn. CT St... no way that team rolls UT in any way, shape, or form.

Prob by year 3 the thread title will be applicable, but it will be out of panic that he's leaving for a better job.

I really hope this post ends up being the longest running post EVER! :eek:lol:

Two months and two days later.....our boys are preparing for the SEC Tournament as the #2 in the conference.....just sayin'

Go Vols!

He's still going to get on here is a few days and say that he was right all along. He'll say that we were a terrible team at that point, and that CCM has completely transformed how he coaches in games. Don't worry...UTIE95 shall not be swayed by logical conclusions drawn from a rebuilding team buying into a system and succeeding.

I'd only be concerned about that if a UNC/Duke/UK/KU type job went after him, or Purdue since that's his alma mater.

True true. I don't really see where CCM has changed his coaching style at all. I see a team that finally bought into what he was coaching. It really isn't that hard to see or for that matter hear, since that is what the players are saying. I believe that the sentiment of the team is "If only we had bought into it earlier".
