Yup...you'd be hard pressed to find him posting something positive over the last 1-2 years...seriously I don't think I've seem him ever post anything positive in that time span.

It is sick. if even there was a coach in TN to ever root for and be proud of it, it is Cuonzo. High character, great morals, caring, cancer survivor, terrific humanitarian.. the list goes on and on. I for one, would not trade Coach Zo for ANY other coach. Seriously.

Things like this is almost as ridiculous as UT IE's statements after our one loss against Memphis. If CCM starts making the NCAA tournament and takes us to bigger and better heights then I hope he is our coach for the rest of the career, if he is struggling to make the tourney and yr 4 then it will be time to start thinking about getting a new coach. I think he will get the job done though.

We finished 2nd in the SEC last year. We were projected to be second to last or last. I don't think it what I said was that ridiculous. CCM seems to be complete thus far

If only he had something coaching-wise as good as his humanitarian acts on his resume. Or are we paying him so he can treat strangers to a free lunch?

As ridiculous as the fact it was our second loss to Memphis in 14 games and our 7th loss on the season?

Thats what I mean...it is just based off of perception, this yr the perception is that we are going to be really good and make a run in the NCAA tournament. Martin still has alot to prove, he has not made his first NCAA tournament, nor had his first highly rated recruiting class.I think he will get the job done and has the potential to take it further than it ever has been.

All the comments about Martin make me laugh though, the man could blow his nose and people would be claiming that they were glad he is our coach or any player in the history of the game would have been a first round pick if they had just played under Martin.

I get you, I really do....After the Alabama game last yr I was wanting CCM fired myself but glad I didnt post anything about it bc once I calmed down I realized I didnt want him fired. LOL

I dont think you want him fired either but I can understand not wanting them to bring in all these mid-major coaches giving them a chance. It looks like we may have hit on this one though.

I've posted many times that this thread was started as I walked out of the FEF after a first class butt kicking. Do I deserve flack for that - sure. I have thick skin, no big deal.

Should Martin be fired? No. Some fans will support him no matter what - they are all in with the love. I'd like Martin to prove something before I start claiming we are a national championship contender. All he proved last season was he's an average coach - which he should be with his experience on the big stage. UT went from a perennial tournament team to a team worthy of a puncher's chance at being a bubble team.

I agree, I am a prove me fan as well.....it looks promising but still alot to prove.
