Gotta say I feel sorry for Bronny James…

Correct, his Dad is a big reason for the massive expectations when he’s out there acting like it’s a forgone conclusion the guy is
A. Going to make an NBA team B. Play meaningful minutes in the NBA int he next couple of years

He'll be on a team. Don't think "playing meaningful minutes" has been mentioned by LeBron at all

I guess I am assuming that if they were on the court together it would b meaningful minutes. If Bronny is playing garbage time his first year or two, I don't see Lebron in at that time, but maybe he's going to want to be in that case. I also think that when Lebron states that Bronny is better than many NBA players, he's implying thathe will play meaningful minutes. IDK. In any event, tweets like this don't help the kid, imo.

Yeah, let the play and see how it pans out. Being a second generation player to a once in a lifetime talent doesn't mean anything as already mentioned with Jordans sons. Putting unnecessary pressure on him,and saying you want to play in the NBA with him is putting the cart before the horse. Lebron just needs to let things happen.

People are tracking the recruitment of a 5 star recruit and that necessitated a thread about...what exactly?

The overhype from media you dumb****. They’re setting him up with massive expectations that most likely will never be met. He has a good stroke, but outside that he’s another player in the crowd.

"The media" describes him as a top-40 player in his class, though rising as he's one of the most-improved players recently, as well as an excellent defender and potential first-round pick. He's also the top uncommitted player in his class, so it would make sense for basketball fans to track his recruitment. Can you explain why you disagree?

Bronny may be a solid player, he might be a really good player or he might have a tough time. Obviously, I don’t know. The only thing I think I do know is that every guy that plays against him isn’t coming in and taking possessions off. He’s getting everyone’s A game every night . That has to be tough .

He is Lebron James son. It’s the Arch Manning syndrome.

agree., I always feel bad for kids having to try to live up to that, but I'm sure he will be fine.
