The Chicago/Robin Thicke collaboration was great. Thicke didn't try to do anything special or change up Chicago, he just sang with them. And I really dug the sound of Blurred Lines with a big band behind it.

Joss Stone was a bit of a flower child without getting too far out there. Norah Jones too. You never know which path they may take.

I can't argue what you're saying. But her looks are what has me worried, not necessary her ideas.

Some is okay, but its just getting too outrageous in some of them.

There's a showmanship component to it all. Concerts are more spectacle than in the past. Technology and rising ticket prices have changed expectations. I don't go to concerts as often anymore. Had tiks to Chris Cornell recently that was canceled the day of the show. I was bummed.

He surprisingly did well. I didn't have high expectations.

Beyonce and jay z sucked. If they came out on American idol and were nobodys and sounded like that, theyd be buzzed in 15 seconds.
Country whiny dude sucked.
Lorde was good. Terrible lighting and camera angle for her. Kindof looked like a monster.
Robin Thicke was great. Talented dude. Bad band name.
Keith Urban and the other dude with the guitar playing was good.

Too me until recently she seemed to be too young looking. If that makes sense. Appears like an attractive woman to me now

Didn't she also date one of the dudes from the Jonas Brothers or One Direction too?

maybe it's an age thing. She's only 7 years behind me, so it's not totally awkward. I've dated girls as far back as six years behind me.

Best of the night. So far....

Actually surprised she knows the piano. My country music tastes starts and ends pretty much with Cash.

Swift surprisingly looks very attractive tonight. First time I could really say it. I've always leaned to Underwood and have preferred Musgraves and Kramer over her.

My step dad used to be an engineer for CBS records, then Sony. Johnny would call him out to the House of Cash to do his sessions.

I was fortunate to see some amazing musicians growing up. Backstage at the Volunteer Jam was always a surprise. I saw Ronnie Milsap get up and dance on the piano one night. An interesting feat for a blind man.
