:lolabove: classic! but all jokes aside this is turning out to be some shady crap. If I was Coach O and Kiffin I would slap Gran a cpl of times before I threw him out of his office. I keep hearing how Gran is such a good moral guy. He's been here a year and moving his children yet again. He's doing some behind the back stuff recruiting wise the past cpl of days if u ask me. He would have job security here. Have fun moving again when your boy Jimbo is fired.

someone on another board made the point that the man makes his living in Florida, im not that particularly happy he left, but all things considered if i wanted to be in politics id move to Washington DC. Its nothing personal.. its college athletics, replace him and move on.. If we as a program cant get over one assistant coach leaving, we have a whole lot more to worry about than a decommit or two.

I know that Frank Wilson is getting a good raise to go to LSU but I think he is crazy to venture south to the purple and gold. How long do you think that Les Miles will be at LSU??? From what I hear from some LSU season tix holders a lot of the fan base is losing their patience with Miles and his crazy idiot game management. Miles will be gone in less than 3 years.

We need a recruiter that can find these kids like the rb from Pitt! That kid ran as hard as anyone I have ever seen! He was the 150th ranked recruit out of Jersey last year! Kiffin will find the right fit!

I am not sure if you are being facetious or not, but I was just getting ready to inform everyone on the recruiting forum that most of his "detractors" were just ganging up on him for calling their bluff on the bball forum. MHF's posts may indeed be too long, but that is not what this "feedback" is about.

You can go back to your "basketball" forum guys. You know who you are.:nono:

Luc is an EE and will be enrolled in FSU classes this week.

Palarady is not an EE and will wait to see who UT hires to handle Special Teams duties. If he doesn't like the hire then that is the time to panic. Not just yet. Lane knows how important he is.

So, I am genuinely concerned. I expected Wilson, Garza, and Chaney to be gone within a year or two, but I firmly expected Kiffin to do everything he possibly could to keep Gran for the long haul. I am concerned that with losing these two our recruiting class WILL struggle to crack the top-10 when all is said and done. On my count, at least 9 of our guys are from south Florida/Louisiana/Mississippi.

I fully realize that Kiffin and Orgeron are monster recruiters, but we cannot afford to bring in classes that are inferior to Alabama/Florida and even Georgia. I think Kiffin will make smart hires, but they will have limited impact for this year's recruiting class.

I'm really just concerned we're going to hemorrhage 3-4 recruits we've got because of the dreaded staff losses, and that those recruits will be key guys.

Is there any realistic reason to think otherwise?

We have more recruits wanting to come to Tennessee than we have spots for. You simply can't have a better situation. We are trying to pull some of the big dogs in this class and the entirety of the class will not take shape until Signing Day.

There's no reason to worry. The core of the coaching staff is still together. We are replacing guys from the bottom of the salary pool. Yes, Gran was underpaid for what he brought to the table, but we will be fine.

I think we will still have a monster class. I also think Garner at UGA gets another offer and this time he takes it, capsizing UGA's sinking ship and in turn sending GA highschool recruiting through us. Just my guess.
