These kinds of things always seem to me to be more about the proponents feeling all warm and fuzzy about themselves, expressing their own self-righteousness and moral superiority to others, than a sincere effort to change public opinion. Sort of an attention whoring component to it, if you ask me. And rather expensively, too. Just don't see it having much actual effect.

Absolutely there is, whatever shred of changing someones mind on abortion will be shattered because the commercials will portray pro lifers as fanatics and comfirm prejudices already in place.

Pro lifers need credibility, this is not it.

Use a hint of common sense in understanding what persuades people and what causes you to be marginalized and thrown in the same bucket as a group like PETA.

We'd do a lot better I think if we focused on changing hearts and minds rather than telling people they're going to hell. Nobody likes abortion regardless of their politics.
