Travis Ford did a good job of coaching today. The Vols had the bodies inside and Oklahoma State got in early foul trouble. That's when Ford perfectly timed a technical foul and began working the refs. End result, the underdog Oklahoma State Cowboys move on to face Pitt and send the Vols back to Knoxville, headbands in hand.

Travis Ford's stock continues to rise while Bruce Pearl's stock seems to take another dip.

No, really. I think Travis Ford is a good coach with his stock on the rise. I also genuinely think he's a better coach than Pearl. People seem to dislike him because of his personality. All I know is he's a winner and I'm glad to see him doing well. He'll always be a Wildcat.

Like I said earlier in the week, a loss is worth it if it gets KY to hire Ford. Imagine Big Blue Nation's response if they upset Pitt.

Don't think it'll happen. Too many people feel the same about him as y'all do. I don't get it. Nobody's asking him to marry their sister.

Billy Clyde will be back next year if he makes the changes the University will demand. If he refuses, he'll walk but I think it'll be in his court.

His stock is definitely rising, if he pulls it off Sunday it'll explode. I know he was one helluva player, clutch.

I think the terms "upset" and "underdog" tend to be reserved for teams regarded as not evenly matched. The 8 and 9 seeds an close spread indicate they were perceived to be fairly even. The consistently close score throughout the game confirmed it.

After KY is ousted from the NIT, something tells me we won't see this guy again for several months. If Kiffin has a strong first year, we won't see this guy again until January.

Nice to see your definition of the terms differs from everyone else in the country. If you look at the Vegas line today, you'll see Tennessee listed under "favorite" and Oklahoma State listed under "underdog".

Looks like I'll be speaking with you all season then. Kiffin has quickly become Public Enemy No.1 in the SEC. For the record, I'll be pulling for the Vols when they play Florida, but man, I think it's gonna be ugly.
