Kids are going to play their butts off for this guy. He's down to earth, like able, sincere, and ready to get his hands dirty. I like this guy.

What the hell did we ever see in Dooley?

You just knew most of that team despised him, especially after almost no one came out in support of him when the announcement to fire him was made.

I am not gonna buy into any of this winning the press conference BS but it was a pretty funny video. Jones definitely has the potential to have a better relationship with his players than Dooley.

Exactly, I was listening to parts of his press conference replayed on the radio and I thought it was Les Miles talking.

I really feel this guy will bring Tennessee football back. I was skeptical with the Kiffin hire. I was "what the heck" with the Dooley hire. But I really like this hire. He is our guy!

Very nice video. I love what I've seen and heard from him so far. He's making these players believe that they are winners from day one. This is so great to hear from a coach. If he can get these guys to truly believe this, and buy in to his teaching we will have us a great winning team very soon. I have a feeling that this was the right coach for us!

Must've been really hard to do all that so quickly without having any sleep. Supposedly Hart talked with him all freakin night. I'd have bags under my eyes and be having trouble focusing, speaking well, showing intensity...I suck when I don't get sleep.

The players will love him and will do more than they ever thought they could, just to not disappoint him. If he can do X's and O's, we will win a lot of ballgames with this guy.

Everything about him is positive. He has proven he is a good coach. He is not the first choice of vol nation, but he is a big step up and will do well. I support and stand with Coach Jones.

I like Coach Jones, the man has won every where he has been!!! I don't care where you coach if you win you can carry that over X's and O's are still 11 on 11 football.. I agree with Tony Dungy about other programs will wished they would have gave him a chance, Jone's doesn't like the term "players coach" but that is what he is and the team will love that and play hard for him!! GO VOLS!!!

I'm on board........... I got nowhere else to go. Impressive upbeat attitude that beams confidence, so he's easy to like. Reminds a little of car salesman, but I always wanted a tough orange truck anyway, I'll buy it.

Great Vid! Ok, let's help CBJ, I have an idea. He said Psych has alot to do with the game. Get on youtube and watch vid there, get everyone you know to watch vid there...can we beat "gagnum style" with most viewed? probably not, but let's help recruit and psych out satan and the gang. It starts now!

A couple of things that stuck out....

His kids wore suit & tie....

Greeting one player he asked, "how are doing and how is the family?"

Meeting C. Hollowway...that was cool

Saying he and the coaches have an open door policy

I've watched it twice and he has a gleam in his eyes of just confidence. Cannot pin it down but just his look shows it.

Confidence breeds confidence and Coach Jones has it in spades. He wasn't faking it. He wasn't going over the top crazy rah-rah energy to pump the players. He was calm, confident and direct. One day, one win. Good job.
