I like Coach Jones, the man has won every where he has been!!! I don't care where you coach if you win you can carry that over X's and O's are still 11 on 11 football.. I agree with Tony Dungy about other programs will wished they would have gave him a chance, Jone's doesn't like the term "players coach" but that is what he is and the team will love that and play hard for him!! GO VOLS!!!

He seems to dislike a lot of cliches like "the spread".

Anyone that says he is insincere when he says Tennessee is his dream job or that he didn't "grow up watching Tennessee football" obviously didn't see this and pay attention to his reaction when he met Condredge. He seemed literally starstruck.

This. His eyes lit up like a kid on Christmas morning when he saw him and said "I grew up watching you play" and then as they parted CBJ said "I want to talk to you"

I am very excited to have Coach Jones lead our Volunteers and get this program back to the greatness it once was! The more I learn of him, his ideas and the way he presents himself I truly believe he can do it. I see a fire and passion in him that will transfer to the players..I can't wait to see all this in action next season. Thank you Coach Jones for wanting to lead our program back to greatness. A couple of things that stuck out....

His kids wore suit & tie....

Greeting one player he asked, "how are doing and how is the family?"

Meeting C. Hollowway...that was cool

Saying he and the coaches have an open door policy

I've watched it twice and he has a gleam in his eyes of just confidence. Cannot pin it down but just his look shows it.

He said "don't" instead of "doesn't". What a clown. Just kidding I hope he does good things & can win us some ball games of relevance.
