I mentioned this ITOT about Bruce Willis, but there are certain actors who pretty much just play themselves in every role and you still love them. Who makes your list?

John Wayne
Bruce Willis
Ryan Reynolds
Arnold Schwarzenegger
Chris Farley

I tried to think of female actors. I don't think there are many big female stars who lack range. Anna Faris came to mind. Her dumb girl bit gets me every time.

You may disagree, but

I like his schtick. Vince Vaughn is another one, actually.
I agree. I like both of them. I love Wedding Crashers and even the Internship had some moments. I can’t get into Vince Vaughn as the serious guy like True Detective Season 2, but if he says “Lets get hopped up and make some bad decisions” in every movie I’m good with it

I did like VV in Domestic Disturbance but I highly doubt that movie holds up.

I haven’t seen it. I’ll check it out

It's probably ****** but it's a relic of the past when Hollywood just pumped out these thrillers about dangerous adult relationships. Most of them were bad but still fun popcorn movies. It'd probably be enjoyable if you go into expecting to laugh at it some.

Michael Cera has made pretty good bank playing basically the same guy. Jason Statham has as well. Chris Pratt maybe? Keanu Reeves? (though we might be messing with the "greatest actors" part)

I'm not certain of Liam Neeson's actual range but he plays a pretty similar guy often. Morgan Freeman and Tommy Lee Jones sure play similar characters a lot but I wonder if that's as much a matter of casting than if they don't have more range in them.

For females IDK...Anna Kendrick and Zoe Deschanel maybe?

Does Gal Gadot do anything other than be smug and superior?

This might be an unpopular take. And I’m not saying he doesn’t have any range, but I think his range might be overrated. Still love his movies….. Denzel Washington

I'm actually with you on this. He really only works as an alpha personality. I'm not sure how much of it is him and how much of it is the fact we've all typecast him in our minds, but can you picture him being a character actor? No way.

He mostly does the same personality over and over, just different levels of intensity, but watching Raising Arizona and then Matchstick Men might change your mind about that.
Love Raising Arizona, haven't never watched Matchstick Men. No real reason, just haven't.
