Martin to Price against Florida in '98 was pretty sweet as well, even though Price got flagged for doing a little dance in the end zone.

I agree...the first one that comes to mind is Martin to Price -- just an unbelievably electric play!

and just for conversation -- How 'bout Casey Clausen to CJ Fayton...4th and 19, in the 3rd OT down in Tuscaloosa....I was so amazed at that play I almost cried. Anyone who complains about Casey's tenure as our qb is foolish...that quy was tougher on the road than any qb in UT history.
Yeah he was the first qb in like 36 games to leave Coral Gables with a win!!!

I think it comes down to Martin/Price or Manning/Kent. One set the stage for a NC, the other broke a horrible losing streak against the hated Tide, one that a lot of folks on this board are probably too young to remember. For those of us who are still haunted by those long years, that pass was one of the sweetest things we've ever witnessed.

Now I am a younger Vol fan and I know about the old Bama rivarly but within my time frame, I think I have a tad bit more hate for The Gators. Hell I threw my nephew a graduation party last week and wouldn't let Brandon Powell a point guard for Mitchell High School ( Memphis, Tennessee) attend because he foolishingy signed with The Florida Gators, some said I was wrong but hey what the hell, it's my party ($$$$$$$) and I can cry if I want to !

Carl butterfingers Pickens had moved on to greener pastures by 1991
No he hadn't. He returned a punt for a touchdown in the opener against Louisville. Why am I not surprised a Pickens critic is incapable of getting the facts correct?

Shuler hit Mose Phillips on a short pass vs Florida in 92, and he took it 70 yards to the house in that driving rainstorm.

Didn't Mose Phillips catch a touchdown pass in the S.C. loss that same year?

It wasn't much of a pass but he broke ,I think, 11 tackles to get to the endzone.

Incorrect. Carl Pickens was a junior in 1991. Alvin Harper was not there, though.

Clausen to Stallworth on an audible against Syracuse.........

Actually Stallworth whenever healthy.............especially against Michigan.

Donte had a pretty sweet catch and run against Vandy in '01. It was a simple out pattern that he caught, and then proceeded to fake the defender out of his cleats and race down the sidelines for a td.

Two passes that stick out in my mind are the two that Tee Martin threw in the SECCG against Miss. State. If I remember correctly, he threw two passes to the corner of the endzone to give us the lead in the second half. Who were the receivers on those two passes? Price and....?

Without those, we wouldn't have witnessed the passing to Price in the NC game.

Wilson caught the other one to seal it. Price was in one corner, Wilson in the other.

The one to Cedric Wilson was as good a throw as Martin made at UT.

It was a pretty pass. The one that impressed me the most was his throw to Wilson against Kentucky that same year. He rolled right, stopped, and threw a javelin shot to Wilson into the end zone.
