We are a whole different beast at home. Our defense is already stifiling, let alone when we have the crowd on our side and a somewhat even free throw count. Then you add in our top 20 offense. It would take a really strong effort to beat us in TBA.
Games like today are why I've been pretty bearish on Bama all year. They've not beaten anyone of value all year. They've also played a super weak SEC schedule to this point. They are a bit of a paper tiger, right now, due to their offense.
This game, as opposed to the Miss State game, just shows you, playing at home is a whole nother thing. It would have been different in Tuscaloosa. That's just the way it is--gotta win your home games and steal one or two on the road. The SEC is a bear trap.
I always laugh when they portray Greenberg as some kind of basketball guru. Steph Curry’s dad, Del, was one of Virginia Tech’s all time greats but Greenberg took a pass on Steph.
