Greenberg picked Alabama

It’s trendy to pick against Rick Barnes and Tennessee because of his March success, so I’m not surprised that Seth Greenberg picked us to lose. This is the most complete team we’ve had since 2018-2019 but that’s not going to matter to most in the media “because of March.”

I was listening to the Field of 68 podcast recapping yesterday’s slate of games and Goodman and Fanta both said they think we’re overrated and not a real contender but didn’t cite any actual evidence other than “I just don’t trust them.” Meanwhile, they slobbered all over Kentucky when Cal has been a bigger March choke artist the last 5 years than Barnes.

The predictions are just opinions, nobody should care..

I just thought it was ironic that he was on the Vol “final 4 team”hype train so early & now has an unranked team beating them at home.

Tennessee was favored by 4.5 at home. Tennessee is better than Alabama and TBA is a better home court. So I can’t see Alabama being favored by more.

It all depends on what Auburn does @ tusca this week . AND obviously Tenn should have been favored by at least 10. That line stunk.
