So without these measures people could vote multiple times? What horrible measures they must be - how unfair.

I will say, the only disappointing aspect of this story is how Gianforte tried to claim that Ben Jacobs was the alpha male aggressor. Which we all know is impossible.

If this holds up its a sad day for the press, the First Amendment, and basic civility. Things are eroding more quickly than I feared.

Think about how bad your candidate is when he loses to a guy that beats up a reporter the day before an election.

And you have Dem reps acting like some they represent, singing '...hey hey goodbye...' while congress was in session when they didn't get their way on the healthcare vote. Acting like children throwing tantrums.

They've had virtually no resistance thanks to the Republican's fear of being called racist these past 8 years. Now that it's gone we are seeing s bunch of spoiled brats being told no for the first time in a long time.

Basic civility has been gone for a while. Ask Milo or Ann Coulter how much civility they received. Partisanism is getting ridiculous and both sides are very much at fault.

So the left wants to limit free speech and the right wants to limit free press.
