Why would someone's ability to raise a test score be flagged?? That doesn't make sense. Why the hell would he announce anything if that's the case?? He's got until before the fall semester to raise it, I don't see the problem.

I've always heard if someone has a large increase in their score it gets flagged. Maybe not, but that's what I've always heard. Either way, he should need around an 18 to be eligible. That's a big jump to make.

He did attend a diploma factory and I think that was a factor also at one point.

I guess when he came here in 2005 his GPA in school was 3.0 but his SAT score was 750. That can't be good.

Isn't it the lower the gpa, the higher the ACT score has to be? If so, his 2.8 isn't going to help very much either.

I think all anyone has to make on the ACT is a 17. That could have changed though.

Lacy has a 17, and he is considered a sign and place guy by some. I'm not really down on the whole qualification process.

I think that Lacy may make it by the skin of his teeth, but I think that he can get up to a 18-19 on his ACT and improve his status before he gets on a campus.

Greg King likes Trooper Taylor over most every coach who has recruited him and that attraction was huge; however, he called the UT office this morning and affirmed with them that he was going to be a VOL. This is great news because of the Melrose pipe line.
