No. You're the guy using stats to define the quality of a cornerback. A perfect corner would be likely to register no stats as a decent QB would recognize that his receiver is never open.
Because that's what you do, you use numbers to support your argument. If you make claims without any substantial evidence to support your stance it's usually considered a baseless statement. Saying Joe Haden isn't one of the better corners in the nation is a baseless statement.
