Utterly disgusting post.
Yeah, people have "chosen" to do those things. Chances are very high that most of them are genetically predisposed to do such due to mental illness, or have been heavily influenced by their environment. Why would someone of sound mind ostracize themselves of their own volition?
I can't remember ever having to choose my sexuality. I liked girls because that's what I liked. I would imagine you were the same way. Why are gays the only ones who get a choice?
Are there not many examples of children raised in conservative Christian households (and I'm just assuming that was your situation, correct me if I'm wrong) who end up gay?
Yes you are correct but you miss the point and make an ignorant argument. Being raised in a Christian home does not guarantee you will be a Christian. A Christian is a person who has a PERSONAL relationship with Jesus Christ. A point I tried to make with the Tator fan and he completely missed the point. Oh we'll, I tried!
Comparing homosexuality to murder seems incredibly disingenuous.
I think your environment can have something to do with it. But again, I don't remember making a conscious decision about my sexuality.
You sir are one ignorant (not meant in a negative way) individual! While your argument about homosexuality is definitely against the teachings of God you also seem to enjoy trying to put people down for their Christian beliefs. I feel no need to attempt to put you down nor would I want to for your misguided beliefs, in fact I sincerely hope you feel the love I have in my heart for everyone. This love was given to me by Jesus Christ.
One last time, being gay is a sin in the eyes of The Lord. I don't hate the sinner but I hate the sin! A sin just like drug abuse, pornography, adultery, murder, etc. The good news is all sins (except blasphemy)can be forgiven through the sacrifice Jesus made for us! Now go ahead with your childish rants and anger against me and my faith but I do not fall victim to the PC crowd or the ways of this world.
Bullying? Quit being a fragile little girl.
"Bullying! Really! I have no anger here. All I have done is express my faith and cited the Word of God to make my points. I think you need to calm down a little bit. What specific matter do you cite? "Get out of here" wow!
When I see my fellow Christians get as upset and vocal about other things like lying, cheating, gossiping, and judging others as they do about homosexuality, I'll be more impressed by what they say.
Right now, as best as I can see, it's an easy "sin" to jump on because most of us aren't gay, so it's a whole lot easier to point a finger, rather than look at our own instances of acting in un-Christian ways.
I've always been fascinated at how excited Christians (and others) get about sexual immorality while glossing over other behaviors that are far more common and, in the end, more hurtful, especially to those we love.
You're right. It's a "legal" agreement not a religious one.
