Ground to make up on GA

Cade Mays said georgia has just signed the greatest recruiting class in history, guess 'cause he's in it. Huh. :bad:

He'll look fine in those tacky Power Rangers uniforms that GA trotted out after being pre-season #1 a few years ago. It's a jaw-ja legacy, remember? :p

Ground to make up. So I went back and looked at the recruiting classes for the SEC East since 2014. Table attached with ranking and associated pts. I also projected out for 2018. Now hopefully we close strong. But lets say we finish with the #17 class. Looking at that average points will be around 2030. So So looking at that combined average over the 5 year period we can see just how many point separate us and GA per year, 402 for 17.5%. Did not have time to do the additional math, so how many extra 4 and 5 stars do we need to sign to make that difference up and how many years is that going to take? We’d better have BETTER coaching. On average, we ain’t going to out-talent GA.

The analytics are great for comparisons but the truth is the Vols have beat the Dawgs two of the last three years. Next year Georgia will lose a ton of players and Tennessee will be a veteran team with a new pro set offense directed by a coach from Southern Cal.

"Worry about the ones you get not the ones you don't." Let's see what Pruitt can do with our current team and all the guys we sign this year. We have experienced talented players, we just need the coaches to put them in the right opportunity to showcase their skills and win some game

Hope it doesn't take to long to coach the Botch out of 'em.

First we need to get our house cleaned up before we make up ground. Don't get me wrong i want to be there now but it will not happen overnight.
